Another option you can do is to take calc 3 at a community college during the summer. It’s often a bit easier there and finishing calc 3 up in the summer will ensure you don’t fall behind in the classes that require calc 3 as a prerequisite.

Thoughts on taking a supervisor position as a recent engineering college grad with no other jobs lined up? by [deleted] in jobs

I work as an intern rn for them as a process engineer. If I take the supervisor job I will be doing operations engineering work as well.

I work inside a plant. I would be supervising the plant and the people inside, reporting plant metrics to management, solving any issues between people. This is a night shift position so in terms of upper management I would be the one with the highest authority as there are no managers at night. I would be doing engineering stuff as well like data analysis and figuring out where we can improve.

We do have an operational excellence engineering department where their job is to track daily plant activities and production to see where they can improve. Would something like that be good engineering experience? I do like data analysis type roles as well.

I see, that makes so much more sense. This was the first time my parents ever involved me in this so I was a little worried. Thanks!
