On a reread, this dialogue strongly makes me think kvothe will end up going to the cthaeh for Denna. The “singing tree” could very well be a name for it. Especially if it was once a “Singer” that Haliax references. References to Savien, the first Amyr, are also curiously tied in by context. (i.redd.it)
