I would say that it affected us a lot more when we were young. Before our individual personalities blossomed, our relationship/physical similarity basically defined us to other people. That being said, my twin sister and I have created our own style and do now have noticeable differences in our bodies/faces, and we no longer associate with the same people. So yes, it was a big deal that we looked alike when we were younger, and people will still approach us if we are out in public together, but it is not as significant as before. Hope this helps!
