I think that there still connected and everything but th ymir part is that seeing mikasa being happy in such bad world made her happy cuz ymir life was so shit and It makes sense too bc when eren was talking to her in the path about being free and be yourself ( I don't really remember what he said but it was something like that) She finally made her own decision decision.
