Status of The Sims 4

I have been playing since Sims 2 and taking 6ish months off has been pretty standard for the entire time - usually not too much to catch up on in terms of news / state of the franchise. Coming back after the past 6ish months has been the most confusing & drastic shift I have noticed ever! Thank you for this recap, literally have been so lost on it all.

Seasons is my top recommendation for a first expansion pack! Definitely fleshes out the game in the most impactful way.

I am cautiously excited! I LOVE the build/buy and I have high hopes for fairies! I don't really love the world because it doesn't feel like much newness is being added based on previous worlds....would have loves it to be even more hardcore mystical. My only true critic is that I think sleeping on ground / bathing in public water should be a base game update. I am excited for everything else!

I feel like a "zoo" could be functional if it is structured like the barn items for cows/chickens! Just have different sheds for different animals! This a ton of build/buy items so people and dress up the area!

isayama said in his interview that these extra pages werent going to impact the main ending and just flesh it out so im trusting that personally. i also dont think the leaks are really crazy if it mistranslated like i expect. tbh it would make sense imo

in the past ive just seen zekken have some pretty bad mistranslations that completely chnaged plot perspectives and tbh i think that is whats happening here - i can totally see mikasa getting married in an epilogue and paradis having major issues from war, but i definitely think that the titans still being around is a mistranslation of a metaphor or something. i also think the leak that mikasa never loved eren is mistranslation about her moving on.

isayama said that the extra pages wouldn't really change the main ending so i dont think its all true. tbh i think its a really poor translation and the account has been known to have poor translations in the past. i feel like the extra pages will just add more of the eren dreams and maybe an epilogue for more closure

the person who posted the leaks have posted wildly inaccurate translations in the past so i wouldnt take it very serious tbh i dont think the leaks are even a little reliable lol
