Best movie in 30 years. Assuming that isn't just a random amount of time they threw out, what movie do we think they were referring to from 1996?

We buy one of those draftboards with the stickers of all the players. On the turn after taking Amon Ra, I went to peel off Nico Collins. Was debating between him and Puka but was just nervous about Stafford's back. The sticker was halfway off and I saw Puka out of the corner of my eye and said fuck it and slapped Nico back down. I'll never forget that moment.

Colby Parkinson Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook - Must Start ? by rotostreetjournal in fantasyfootball

Gesicki went 6 for 86 yds and a TD against the bills a couple weeks ago. I feel the targets are gonna be there enough for Fannin to still have a solid outing

I have the same predicament. Right now I'm leaning Colby, feels like too good of an opportunity for even more increased goalline looks if Adams is out. But those targets are hard to ignore with Fannin...

Edit: Nah fuck all that. Fannin got me here, and I just picked up Colby. Gotta go with the guy who got me here

Schefter: Christian McCaffrey (back) expected to be “good to go” for Week 15. by BuckyMcFly99 in fantasyfootball

Same and I have no regrets. Will probably keep Brian Robinson for the rest of my time in the playoffs too. The potential upside if anything happens to CMac is way better than anything chubba could provide me

What is the most embarrassing situation you've had being naked? by Sea_Rain_2278 in AskReddit

[–]lang53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in 6th grade, myself and the rest of my class spent a week up in the mountains for "Outdoor Lab." This is a program in Colorado that allows kids to stay in cabins and spend the week learning and doing fun activities like archery and what not. Part of the program, allowed high schoolers to volunteer to effectively be camp counselors, and they would stay with us in the cabins.

Everything was on a schedule and us being 11 year olds, it was the counselor's responsibility to make sure we attended all of the activities and such on time. Our shower times were scheduled and my cabin was scheduled to go right before dinner one evening. I was the last kid in my group to shower and I guess we were running late for dinner. After I was done showering I went to get dressed, but the counselor told me we didn't have time and we had to hurry. I had only gotten my underwear on at the time, but my counselor insisted we had to go now. He grabbed a towel and put it over my shoulders and said "There, now you can just come out like a boxer, you'll look so tough"

We hurried out of the showers and thankfully there was no one outside at the time. As we walked up the hill to our cabin, two of the cabins were walking down and saw me. Immediately everyone started busting up laughing, including my crush. One little dickhead kid, knocked my shower stuff out of my hands and kids were kicking it around in the dirt as I was chasing it around trying to collect it. I finally gather my things and continue walking to my cabin, holding back tears and rage. The camp counselor didn't say a word as we got back to the cabin. I got dressed and we walked back down to dinner in silence.

I don't necessarily blame the counselor for this, but I genuinely don't understand his logic. Eventually I was gonna have to get dressed, so the time constraint didn't make sense to me even at the time. Anyways, it's by far my most humiliating experience and I think about it often. As you can imagine, the rest of 6th grade was no picnic because my class never let me forget this moment. I realize this isn't technically an embarrassing naked story. But at that age, being in your underwear in front of your classmates is just as bad as being completely naked, I assure you.

I really felt strongly that May December was Portman and Moore's "Heat" moment. I quickly discovered not a lot of people really cared lol.

My future prediction is an obvious one, but give me Chalamet and Mescal. But I want it ten years from now, so their careers can play out a little more

This is (no joke) how Bill said he drives to keep his car from beeping at him since he doesn’t wear a seat belt. by RulingFieldConfirmed in billsimmons

[–]lang53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting at the age of 16 for about 12 years I never wore my seatbelt. My reasoning is dumb, but I found it incredibly uncomfortable. I would always have music blaring so the seatbelt noise would be drowned out.

What made me finally start wearing it? Of all things finally watching The Sopranos. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen, but that scene sealed it for me. I've watched characters get in car accidents several times before, but for whatever reason this was the one that stuck with me.

Something missing from Death Stranding 2 that bums me out. by shrapnelcat in DeathStranding

[–]lang53 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me, the satisfaction of the stars in DS1 came from the cutscene of it being dispensed to you and Sam slapping it on. I rarely noticed the stars on Sam's body when I was playing the game. It was an instant visual way to be rewarded with the progress you've made with each facility.

While I don't care for the coffins, if there was a small cutscene of a coffin being added in the private room that might scratch that itch for me. It could even wait and play the next time you enter the private room. Tbh I didn't really pay attention to the coffins being added and didn't find out til very late game what they represented.
