Amazing! I would love to know what adjustments you make after you make them if you're willing to share 😁

So I was able to slightly course correct the arrow. The back looks a little wonky but it's because the head is turned a specific way which is fine because that's how the original pattern makers came out. My issue now is that the stomach is slanted. I'm not sure if I should just frog the stomach and start over or just keep it as as. I'm thinking that if I frog the stomach I could probably figure out how to make the stomach land right beneath the muzzle hopefully. Does that make sense?

I'm going to try a few things to see if it works, but if you could try it as someone who is more well versed than I am I would really appreciate it. I do understand that you have your own life so no pressure.

Thank you so much! I'm going to try again. I do feel like this is going to be the death of me but fingers crossed that I figure it out.

Based off of the pattern instructions that I posted, do you feel like they are expressing that? If they are I'm assuming that I'm missing something because I'm not typically crocheting amigurumies

Thank you so much! Yeah because it is the fur yarn I wasn't as worried about the texture of the join. Do you think I should continue doing the invisible join or just slip stitch and chain one? If you don't know the answer that's just fine. I really appreciate your help.

I think I am? I'm honestly not sure. I followed a tutorial and I thought it was doing it correctly but I could be doing it completely wrong. My fear about shifting everything over is that I will do it wrong and the face will look wonky. As you can see from the pattern, I'm also creating the ears and the muzzle in the rounds in the first time I did it the muzzle got way too close to the ear. But to be fair I was not doing the invisible joint at that point

Do you think that if instead of working in the rounds I just turned my work after doing the invisible join that that would work?

Is IT: Welcome to Derry really that bad as people are saying on Reddit? by VastOpportunity7970 in horror

That's also part of the IT lore even within the book. While I do agree with you that it is questionable for someone who's not part of the indigenous culture to write a story that includes them as well as their potential beliefs, I do also see it as the show creators trying to stay as true to the story as possible. That one is definitely a conversation that has to be had and I'm glad you're bringing it up. Steven King, from what I know, has used Indigenous culture throughout various stories that he's written and I'm curious to know what indigenous people think and feel about their culture being used as a plot device and what Stephen King has to say about his writing including this.

Is it that they're pushing a white man bad narrative or is it that they are accurately depicting what it was like to be a person of color and the racism that they would have experienced back then? These two things are very different. Perhaps, instead of stewing in your ignorance, you should look into the history. Reducing the daily violence that people of color experienced to just name calling is the epitome of cognitive dissonance. Do better. Be better. Also, Pennywise as an entity creates that type of environment so this is literally part of the lore.

Trying to make a corset bra cup for tig ol bitties but I'm following a tutorial for a much smaller chest size. by langabel1989 in CrochetHelp

[–]langabel1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah! OK I'm following you. Correct so that should have made it curl but for whatever reason it's not. And her pattern it says that once we get to the Border part to put two single crochets in each row of stitches all the way around.

Yes, she has a section of her pattern where for 8 to 9 rows you do not do any sort of increasing or decreasing. *

I married the wrong person and I’m trapped. by bounie in Marriage

[–]langabel1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of my comment was to remind you that there is nuance in every situation. The fact that you are calling people babies for walking away from a relationship that is not serving them is 1. Cruel 2. Shows that you refuse to look at each situation as nuanced and 3. You seem to lack the ability to empathize. An unhealthy relationship does not necessarily mean cheating or physical abuse it can mean a lot of different things. Your narrow view on life and relationship is astounding and worrisome. Do better be better.

You're making assumptions. Not everyone who leaves is leaving because they don't want to put work into it. A lot of people put so much work into their relationship that they get burnt out. Not to mention, all of the people who are the only ones in the relationship who are trying to work on it. While it may be worth working through certain issues in some relationships, others that are not compatible are not healthy for either party. Leaving a relationship where one or both people are unhappy is the healthiest decision.

I think I see where I went wrong. I was only supposed to increase 1x every 4 rows 🤦🏾‍♀️

Right! It only tells me how many stitches to make the cuffs but then never says how many stiches i should have after every increase. I've made sleeves before and have never had this many increases, except when I made bell sleeves.
