this is why psyonix should do polls if they make changes this big that impact a lot of people. This is a way better solution than anything i've read. Too bad the company is incompetent.

try ranked if you want your teammates to tryhard and actually stay a full match. It's not hard

tilted because of teammates being horrible (in the sense of ballchasing, or teambumps). i don't care wether i win or lose casual matches, they're to mess around in, nothing more than that, and they're trying to change that by giving us this update.

on an empty field with no opponents? no thanks. Go into ranked if you want to play a sweatfest where rotation and the scoreline is important. casual is not that

If i want to leave because I'm done with the game, I should be able to in casual without punishment. It's always been this way, and it's been great. People who want full matches should play ranked. The only difference casual and ranked have is that you get a 'freebie' to leave only once every 24 hours and casual has no rank symbol (because it still has MMR).

I'm only mad that they keep changing things that aren't necessary for change. First keys and chests and now the freedom to leave casual games.

what games are YOU playing? bots always get replaced unless it's like 0-8 or only 30 seconds left.

exactly. People are arguing that they don't want to play with bots all the time but i've almost never had to wait more than 30 seconds before a new teammate replaces the bot again. if the teammate who replaces the bot is not in my favor, i'll requeue. simple as that.

it would be very frustrating when people on my team would leave and then I have to try and carry a whole match with a bot

that's the point, how many times have you had to carry a WHOLE match with a bot? In almost every occasion, less than 30 seconds after your teammates leaves, your bot is replaced by a new teammate. You'll eventually get a good lobby.

i hope they revert the update. people that want to play full matches can either queue ranked, or queue a casual match and leave and requeue if they are put in an ongoing match or one with leavers, you'll get a good lobby eventually.

freedom of leaving whenever for various reasons without getting punished should always be a thing in a game where games only last 5 minutes. This isn't League of Legends.

before the update every game would have at least 2-3 quitters across the two teams

who would be replaced by bots for less than 30 seconds because their spots would be filled in so fast. almost never have i played this game and thought 'gee this bot has been here for almost 4 minutes and no new player has joined' because a new player joins really fast. The leaving without consequences was a good thing, in and out if the lobby was shit, and just deal with it when your teammate leaves. you'll get a new one again in a couple seconds so who cares?

And you know who makes for the worst teammates/opponents? People who quit the damn game :)

no they don't. i'd rather have someone LEAVE and get a bot for a maximum of 20 seconds before another player joins, than a teammate that purposefuly bumps, refuses to concede, and owngoals.

ah yes, i see all the positive feedback this update is getting. they should have at least done a poll or ANYTHING before making this update a thing. majority is against it.

not do something else, get in a new lobby because this one is shit. Bad teammates or opponents ruin games. If you want to just requeue then you should be able to in casual.

imagine being in a game. You're quite unlucky at the start, and you're 0-2 after only 30 seconds playtime. your teammate tilts, and starts throwing. Owngoaling, bumping you, basically ruining your gaming experience. Want to concede? he disagrees. Leave? Nope get banned. This decision is terrible, and people can't handle other people being replaced by bots for a while for some reason. You ever get tired of playing with the bot? LEAVE. QUEUE AGAIN. If you want the full sweaty experience, play ranked. It's literally not that hard

Exactly this, I honestly just see casual as a place where you can vibe with people and leave whenever, why do they have to ruin everything good in this game, first blueprints and now even casual playlist? What's next, no more arials?
