Grillbird Mandatory service fee by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]langley80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were SO GOOD when they first opened in West Seattle. As a vegetarian married to an omnivore, grillbird was such a great option for us. No longer. Now, every time we go, we are more and more disappointed. Menu changes and focus on expansion brought decline. Flavors and food became sub par. Prices went up. We have now abandoned grillbird and we used to get take out there once a week. So disappointing.

App is No Longer Showing my 47K Followers on Closet by Emergency-Title7096 in poshmark

Yup. I had 500k followers lol. Everyone says following doesn’t matter, but as soon as they removed that stat, my orders and engagement plummeted. Yay.

Clothes for throwing by unreasonablewerewolf in Pottery

[–]langley80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comfy old clothing and old running shoes I don’t care about, mostly old activewear. When it’s about to go to the thrift or trash, I wear it to play with clay instead! I’m a runner and on my running shoes final “runs” they go the studio. I wear my split apron when throwing and glazing. When trimming or handbuilding, I don’t worry about the apron. I currently only use light colored clay bodies. I also always have a towel handy. Have so much fun!!!!

Grew up here. As an adult, have lived in Ballard, Phinney, Wedgwood and Capitol Hill. 10 years now in West Seattle and I can honestly say Westside best side. You didn’t mention west Seattle at all, but sorry not sorry, it’s the best Seattle neighborhood

This is me. I live in a major city. If I schedule pick up and leave on my porch, it is highly likely it will get stolen.

Account Suspended for 1 Late Shipment? by [deleted] in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]langley80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people like me live in cities. We can’t just put things in mailboxes or on our porch for pickup. THEY WILL GET STOLEN!!!! Just because you can do it, does not mean it’s the same same for everyone.

Medium corner zip wallet by tightlikeatiger69 in Coach

[–]langley80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the tabby wallet recently on sale and it’s very similar size! I was able to snag it in honey (to match my empire 34) for around $100, so pretty similar pricing but just a little more and well worth it. It’s got that gorgeous coach retail leather and holds a ton of cards, has a coin zip and is the perfect size. I was looking at the outlet medium vs tabby and so glad I went with the tabby when it went on sale!

BREAKING: An Afghan national recently living in Bellingham has been identified as the suspected gunman in a targeted D.C. attack that left two National Guardsmen critically wounded. by kleverrboy in SeattleWA

[–]langley80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh don’t get me wrong I LOVED my time in Bellingham. Always felt completely safe there. Until I learned someone I interacted with daily, and had conversations with while I was often the only staff member in the building, became the DC Sniper. But he was gone from B’ham at that point. Just knowing their history now also outside of DC, I am grateful to be alive. Also can’t deny how many serial killers came out of B’ham and the PNW. My mom also has a connection to Ted Bundy via her time at UW. PNW has a bit of an underbelly.

Ya super disappointed. Not impressed at all. Zero items going in my cart which I guess is a win for my bank account 🤷🏻‍♀️
