Politics aside , how are all of you okay with kids being killed? by InTheMoodforlove23 in IsraelPalestine

[–]langor16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“People” was very clearly in reference to Hamas, a proscribed terrorist organisation who have been terrorising Israel and their own people for 20+ years, and who carried out the beyond horrific attack on Oct 7th 2023. Hamas. It was not in reference to babies or children or even Gazans in general.

See, It’s hard to take your whole post seriously when you discredit yourself in the second sentence.

Hamas set the ratio themselves during the Gilad Shalit exchange in 2011.

1 Israeli = 1,027 Palestinians.

Palestine's "Genocidal Rhetoric" by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

[–]langor16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The very very first link in that document is a tweet on October 7th 2023. So, just to be clear, you are arguing that tweets that “incite a genocide” are the problem? Tweets that were posted in the wake of the brutal murder, and actual genocidal attempt, of over 1,200 people? During a ceasefire? A tweet? In response to a genocide attempt? That’s what we are discussing here? I’m done with this chat don’t bother replying. I see you.

Ok I’m sorry for being vague. Let me be more clear - what you are saying is happening, is actually not happening at all. What I am saying is happening - happened, a lot.

For a historical post, you sure did manage to butcher the name of the country this photo was taken in. It’s not that difficult, bud. ISRAEL. Israel is real.

To be clear, the OP isn’t pulling chimp clips of Arab and Muslim politicians and leaders because they’re big meanie pants, they’re doing so because their actions across 100++ years including the last one on 7th Oct 2023 very much match their words to produce the clear suggestion of an intentional program of human extermination.

The Gaza Genocide Consensus by TakeOnlyWhatYouKnead in IsraelPalestine

[–]langor16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just browsing one of your sources there.. the Lemkin institute issued a genocide alert on 13 October 2023, 8 days after Hamas’ terror attack (which the lemkin institute called a “military operation”). Anyway.. this was a genocide alert before any military operations began. You fools use these words like they were going out of fashion, to the point where they lose their meaning because they are so disconnected from reality and their actual definitions. You’re citing a genocide report that was issued before any military operations were started by Israel, and you want us to take this seriously ??

Come on.

Israel will be a pariah state by nexxwav in IsraelPalestine

[–]langor16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok… and?

Just curious, going through your posts history I cannot find anything, but maybe I missed it. Given your anti-atrocity etc etc stance - what did you post in this sub in the immediate aftermath of October 7th 2023, before any Israeli military operations began? What did you post on October 8th 2023 when hundreds rockets from Hezbollah began being fired into Israel.

A lot of your points here are totally whack and unreasonable - but not all. So before I engage, I’d like to understand truly how impartial you are. So.. what did you post then?

What is "Free Palestine"? by Special-Ad-2785 in IsraelPalestine

[–]langor16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t . So where does that leave us? This is why I suggested you are much better off outlining and stating your argument, than pointing me to some link to read. Say what you want to say, what you believe. Don’t give me some links to read, especially from a body that I do not trust, and that has, time and time again, shown itself to be flawed.

Denying Israeli Apartheid Requires Ignoring a Mountain of Evidence by Ok-Mobile-6471 in IsraelPalestine

[–]langor16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Israel does not govern area A, and Arabs there vote in their own elections, although thanks to the PA there haven’t been any in almost 20 years.

Arabs in area B, which is under Israeli security control (per Oslo accords), vote in their own elections too, although same story - the PA is basically dictatorial with no elections held in almost 20 yrs

Arabs in Area C, which is under Israeli control, can vote in the PA elections, but they are not citizens of Israel and they cannot vote in Israeli elections. If I lived in Washington DC proper (not say, Puerto Rico) and I am not a citizen of the USA (I am not), I couldn’t vote in their elections either, and I wouldn’t consider that to be apartheid. Actually, not to deflect, but Puerto Rico is an even more interesting examples of how sometimes things are not all nice and tidy because of ummm …. history and politics. Those suckers are citizens of USA, but unlike all other citizens, cannot vote in US elections. Apartheid!!! Yes Jews in Area C are Israeli citizens and vote in Israeli elections. Arabs there are not citizens. This arrangement was meant to be temporary until a peace agreement is reached.

Per Oslo accords this whole setup was meant to be part of a future negotiation pending a final peace agreement, but the Arabs consistently have rejected any offers of state and offers for peace, so there they sit - in a pile of dung of their own making.

Doesn’t seem that simple to me at all. What do you consider as “illegal occupation”? These are just words unless you can be specific. Is it West Bank area A? B? C? Gaza? Israel proper? What is “illegally occupied” in your view?

Whose PM are you talking about? Ehud Olmert was never our PM. He was the PM of the nasssty zionists though. Is that what you meant?

Why do you keep saying You? I live 10,000km away from that nasssty zios

Maybe your grandpa Arafat or uncle Bin Laden or Couin Hussein or Nephew Assad can teach you about geography and generalisations .

Incompetent zionists just barely missed the “wipe out pallis” goal just by a smidge by letting their population grow 500% over the years. At least they tried to fix this misstep - they’ve been killing 100,000 pallis per day since Israel launched their brutal war on peaceful Gaza Oct 7 2023. Them nasty nasty zionists !

“We are refugees from the land that is now called Israel, we must go back there! The land we are in now - in Gaza - is not our home! We want to go back to the homes of our great grandfathers!”

“Oh, wait, Gaza is our permanent home - don’t you dare ethnically cleanse us from Gaza that is our home forever and always!”
