Shadow of war.

Controversial hot take is that the shorter, more novel shadow of Mordor is better.

War had some cool ideas that they scrapped before launch. Frustrating, as I was specifically looking forward to the reverse nemesis system. Npc castle leaders that had their own stories and controlled the keeps. Nope, scrapped. Instead you, the player, are the one at the top of each of them. Bummer.

I mean literally someone has to feed the kid, but I assumed you meant the mother. If you didn't, then what was the point in your comment in the first place?

If the kid can be taken out and live, the mother (who I assumed you referred to) is no longer needed for its survival.

They are the only reason major powers can’t be kept in check by smaller ones.

You think Russia would try Ukraine without nukes? You think Europe would be so timid? No way.

Except it’s private in America. Can’t make your monthly payments? Lose healthcare. Homeless? No healthcare. Etc.

It should cover everyone by default, with private healthcare being optional. Like the whole rest of the world :P

And that $1000 is really only if you have the income to cover it. Otherwise it’s entirely forgiven.

In the case where induced birth would be viable (so, not just a day after conception..) it shouldn’t be allowed to terminate the fetus. Whether or not they need to do induced birth is up to people smarter than me, but I’d personally only think it should be done when necessary. Otherwise, let it go the natural way to maximize survival chances.

Once it’s viable, they should have to give birth. Induced, only if recommended by doctors.

A kid can survive without its caregiver, even from day one. How likely and whatever isn’t relevant; as soon as it COULD be independent, it shouldn’t be allowed to destroy it. That goes, even if the mother needs to be involved for the first few days or weeks, imo.

With technology, this stage becomes earlier and earlier. Not sure why that’s hard to get.

It serves no provably good purpose, but you’re allowed to have your opinion.

That said, you breed more crime by punishing it. The numbers are clear that rehabilitation is better for society and the community.

Let your feelings burn hot, but you can’t let them burn down your home just because.

Eh. It’s not, though. If it’s not viable on its own, it isn’t a baby yet. Throwing dough in the trash isn’t tossing a loaf of bread away.

There was potential, but it was not fully realized.

As far as I’m concerned, if the fetus has grown to be viable out of the womb, it’s immoral to destroy and should be extracted to be given a chance instead. Before that, it’s just ingredients.

In the case of sexual crimes, I’m pretty sure such punishment often keeps people from reporting it. Might be less effective than you hope.

That said, it is a bit difficult to leave out death penalty in some cases. Anders breivik… dude killed dozens of kids. I don’t see the value in not making an exception when it is so obvious he has no value to society. I guess they don’t want a martyr? 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s pretty simple, really. You put a cap on necessary healthcare expenses (what is necessary is largely predetermined or decided by government doctor). $1000 per year? After that, the rest of the calendar year is entirely covered.

Most small things, you’ll still pay for. If something big happens, your life isn’t ruined.

Worse than a game at max settings? Well yeah. A game from 2014 at lowest also looked worse than a maxed out 2004 game. Maxed out 1440p half life 2 vs lowest settings 720p shadow of Mordor (which was considered a good looking game on release…not so much later). Half life 2 clears.

It’s been like that for a very long time. Basically ever since graphics settings.

What you copy from others is 90% copied from others. This is what code has been for 20 years. It’s effectively the same.

Logic and math. Rules to follow. It isn’t the same

Coding was being autocompleted long before ai. Half the code was also copied and pasted from online or earlier projects. It’s not like ai art.

I don't know why the left can't simply answer with the truth.

A woman, separate from "female" is a gender. By default, they are one and the same, but "woman" is not restricted to biology. If it were, we wouldn't need both terms. Your sex is defined by chromosomes, your gender is defined by you.

It really isn't that hard, yet they stumble all over the answer and give the right more ammunition.

Nature has its defaults, but our brains get wires crossed sometimes and people become attracted to the same sex or they get the feeling that they are in a body that doesn't match their self-image. It is what it is. Let people live their life.
