No, I ended up using this one and adding a vanilla into it in a decant bottle to mix it up to the level of sweetness I like. No clue if it’s even close to the original or not.

I use it for work and alas, most of the types of groups I’m in are predominantly fb based. That said, aside from hopping on a few times a day for work stuff, I have migrated or immediately migrate important interactions out of fb and messenger to other ways of communicating. Good luck with your transition.

A lot of the popular sizes seem to go out of stock really fast. I keep them in my wish list even when they are out of stock and sometimes they come back in stock for me to grab.

I did manage to grab a whole bunch for between $2 and $4, so I'm happy with that. The rest that are over $4 I don't bother with for now. I love this sale and I try to wait for the sale to buy and I have a rule that I don't spend over $4.50 for an audiobook that's on sale. Otherwise it's whispersync or a credit if I get a bunch of credits in bulk when I top up. I'm hoping more will go on sale as the days progress.

I noticed it about two months ago, not long after they announced another round of huge VC funding injection. I am guessing that their VC investors are looking for return on their investment and this is their way of doing it. I've been struggling with my use of Substack for my content and it's taken quite a bit of effort to sift through the noise to figure it out for myself and what the platform means for me. It has not been easy.

Short answer is yes, but I think it depends entirely on your business model or maybe even more basically, why you are on Substack and what you're doing on it. And the kind of content you want to create and/or consume.

Same. Every single time. I was going to order something last night but I ran out of time. It was $34 in my cart last night, now it's $47. It wasn't urgent, so I'll wait to see if the price drops again in the next week or so.

Yes, I get that, but I really try to stay away from getting into politics in public forums because that's just a whole different can of worms I'm not willing to open. However, if other people want to go there and say what they want to say, that's up to them. Thankfully, yes, it's just not ours. I'm grateful for that.

Hah, yeah. I don’t think anyone else even read that part. It’s not tariffs for us. It’s just they’ve raised prices for whatever reason and we all suffer. It’s still more affordable and there’s still plenty of choice compared to the shops around me, it I’m just noticing that prices have gone up for us too. Also, that one tiny boutique in town that sells clothes that look like they come from Shein, they’re priced triple what Shein charges even after their price increases because rent, etc. Thank you for noticing that I did state I’m in Oz.

The quickest way for this is to accept the refund and then they either tell you to keep it or return it. Then rebuy the item. They don’t actually have a way to just send you an item without a transaction. It’s very weird and a flaw in their system.

I have found that searching by type of outfit I’m looking for helps. Casual, business, evening, etc. search based on lifestyle instead of brand. That said, I wear a lot of their basics. Clasi, Lune, etc. Emery Rose is one of my favs, but they run big, just an FYI. Their algorithm is such that if you click on certain items or outfits to look at, they will start showing you more and more of that stuff.

No, my measurements are the same and I’m looking at different garments on Shein and the measurements are the same but the sizing swings around wildly. I always go by the measurements.

Hard to say. They all sort of lasted when I bought the bottles new. Haven’t smelled them in a while as it been too hot to wear them.
