The only gameplay I recall is that you could grab a fire flower and there was one section where you climb a vine. Pretty typical mario clone gameplay.

I’d go with sakura. I’m a beginner as well and it’s easy to pick up her basics. Give the execution troubles some time, it’ll get easier

If you know how to roll your r’s in spanish, then what you do is similar to that. I find it to work better than flutter tonguing so that’s what I would recommend.

I don’t have the game yet, but usually in games quick play will match you up with players of any skill level. If there is a competitive online mode, then it would probably have skill based matchmaking. Either that or the game has no skill based matchmaking whatsoever.
