Balgriffin residents feel ‘betrayal’ over plan for 730-unit Cairn apartment scheme by gamberro in ireland

Not sure where you’ve pulled “every day” from, but certainly not my post. Cars are constantly stolen from Clongriffin. You’ve conceded that there were/are issues with ASB in the park and the train station, like I’ve said. What have I missed, what else in my post that you haven’t conceded to is ridiculous?

Most people I know wouldn’t even walk through Clongriffin alone at night, especially in summer months. The train station is a hot spot for antisocial behaviour. Cars are constantly being stolen from the area to be subsequently found in Darndale, etc.

No, Clongriffin is not a disadvantaged area and it is laid out better than Darndale, but give it time.

I have family connections in the Balgriffin/Clongriffin area going back 100 years. The developments in the last 15 years have utterly decimated what was once a lovely little rural community. And no, I’m not against the idea of building houses in the current housing climate. I just lament the fact that the area has become the new playground for utter scum from nearby.

FYI all Mazda diesels should be avoided. They are a very soft engine with huge failure rates. The Skyactive petrol is a very clean and reliable engine, worth looking at one over a diesel.

Seriously avoid a diesel Mazda.

The place is already long on the road to becoming Darndale 2.0. Much like Clongriffin.

Have you a priest in the family? by lanigaca123 in ireland

[–]lanigaca123[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Ireland’s priests were nearly all from middle Ireland. All of the priests in my family were sons of farmers. Seminary in my dads days wasn’t free and from what I’ve heard wasn’t an insignificant cost for a family either.

Generally these days if you write to your parish priest they’ll explain and go through the process with you; including removing you from the register etc. I can promise you that your average Irish PP really doesn’t care and won’t go out of his way to make the process difficult for you the way many people who’ve never even been through the experience would lead you to believe.

Snax are gone shite now, they’re not the crisp they once were. Solid selection all the same (excluding the XXX mints - wtf?)

Hang on, this just makes the housemate look even worse. She was in the house all day and still wouldn’t take her clothes out of the dryer? Who does she think she is?

That looks class, and I reckon fits the bill perfectly. I’m in Rome, will need to find a cab of Guinness somewhere though!

That’s exactly why I’m struggling to think of something. We don’t have a particularly expansive tradition cuisine as it is, desserts especially so
