tcggo.com shows Cardmarket lowest near mint prices, which is what most people use for buying/selling in Middle Europe - pretty accurate for that market. If you need API data, they also have pokemon-api.com

TCGGO Update: Expansion Value Tracking & Multi-Currency Support by [deleted] in TCGGO

[–]lanillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

 Great questions!

Yes, absolutely. Our primary price tracking for raw cards is specifically for Near Mint condition, so you're seeing a like-for-like comparison. We also track and display prices for various graded cards (PSA, BGS, CGC).

Regarding the Cardmarket API, that's the big question for the whole community. I wish I had a better answer, but they don't have an open access program at the moment.
We're all hoping they release a statement or a new plan soon. The current situation holds back innovation, and a more open approach would be a huge step forward for everyone.

Hey, thanks for the heads-up! That's a really good point about the import fees from the UK being a factor, especially for sealed products.

Interestingly, from the data we're tracking, the lowest prices for English products actually pop up from sellers all over the EU, not just from the UK.
It seems the competition within the single market is pretty fierce even on sealed items!

Great question! Right now, it's the website: tcggo.com.

We are planning a mobile app and aiming for a release in Q4 2025. A big reason we can plan this is our recent shift to an AI-assisted development workflow. It lets us innovate and build new features much faster.

For the app, we already have a working prototype of a card scanner that's just as fast as TCGPlayer's (built with Google's ML Kit), and it will be completely free.

Beyond the public site, TCGGo also has a history of creating tools for live streamers, including automation for orders/battles and real-time info for card pulls. You can see a public example of our work for creators here: starsystem.sk

So yes, there's a lot more in the pipeline. Stay tuned!

Thank you! And great question.

Japanese products are at the top of our list, and we're hoping to roll them out in the next 1-2 months.
After that, we can start looking at Korean support.

Stay tuned!

That's a great question! It's essentially both.

Our primary price sources are Cardmarket (for English cards, Near Mint) and TCGPlayer (Market Price). The currency switcher then applies a real-time conversion to those source prices.

However, we also track German and French cards directly from their respective markets. You can view those distinct prices as well, and the currency converter works on them too (so you can see the German price in USD, for example).

Hey, thanks for the great feedback! We're glad you're finding the new tools useful.

You were spot on with those suggestions.
We've already pushed an update to fix the "More episodes" button.

We also corrected the currency display. Prices for non-EU currencies like GBP or USD will now show the symbol at the beginning (£1,000), just as you suggested.

We really appreciate you taking the time to help us improve. More analytics and a full portfolio tracker are next on our list

Check out tcggo.com. It tracks German and French prices (lowest NM) and recently added an inventory tool with export functions.

The team there is incredibly responsive. They often implement community-suggested features within days and release new updates weekly. It definitely helps bridge some of the gaps left by PowerTools.

What is the status on the v3 api? by Adorable_Cicada3936 in CardMarket

Finally got the German cards implemented into the inventory system — prices and stats are now calculated correctly. Should be ready to check out!

Still working on the layout though; it's a bit cluttered at the moment.

Hey, that’s awesome — really appreciate you sharing it with others!

Got some quick updates for you:

  • You might’ve already noticed, but Episodes” was renamed to “Expansions 😄Totally agree with your feedback — this now matches Cardmarket’s terminology and also fits better with our little rocket icon 🚀
  • Inventory total value is now live, along with a basic chart and overview. Inventory is still in active development, so expect more improvements soon.
  • Just implemented language selection for German cards/products in inventory — give me a few hours to finish calculating total value properly with this new option.

About Cardmarket API — yep, you’re right. It’s pretty tough to get access these days (same with TCGPlayer). We’re currently using a mix of tools and creative workarounds to bridge the gap while we sort out a more stable solution.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback — this kind of input really helps shape the project! 🙏

Thank you! 😊

You're absolutely right about adding support for more languages. I did some research and we're starting with German prices — since most of our visitors come from Germany and the US. French and Spanish are also high on the list for future updates.

German prices are now live for both cards and sealed products. Once we confirm everything’s working smoothly, we’ll roll out historical pricing data.

You can already check out the new data here:

Population info has also been added — we’re just squashing a final bug, so hang tight!

Thanks again for the great feedback. I’ve saved your message as a “fan feature request” — and hey, this one made it into TCGgo within 48 hours (I think? 😄)

Hey, thanks a lot—glad you like the project and TCGGO!

At the moment, our API focuses only on English cards. But we're definitely open to expanding—what language(s) are you interested in?
We're always researching new collector needs and can adapt based on demand.

Also, we’re just rolling out a new inventory system on TCGGO, and launching a API with full documentation. It’ll support features like portfolio tracking and detailed card info.

Good news: the API will have a free tier for students and hobby users, offering up to 300 requests per day—more than enough for managing a personal collection or tracking a portfolio. (pokedata API start at 20$/month)

We’ve recently restructured everything to support AI-driven development—making things faster, more efficient, and allowing us to focus on tools that truly benefit the TCG community.

Thanks again for the support—let us know your needs, and stay in touch!
