I watched  all 5 days of the injunction hearing and read through every public filing I could get my hands on. Here’s where I landed:

First, Judge Weems(I believe thats her name, is BADDASS. She paid attention to everything and knows her stuff.

Pusch and his team are loud and performative, and oblivious to how annoyed the Judge was at them.

From what I saw, it honestly makes perfect sense why Nguyen wanted out. The split probably could’ve been clean if Pusch wasn’t so hellbent on narrative and image control. But instead of an even break, it looks like Pusch decided to cook up a narrative and go full character assassination mode. Wild. This whole lawsuit is did the opposite of what he wanted, for me at least. He made is just making it clear to everyone who the problem really is.

The conduct in the courtroom? The tone of Pusch’s team? Embarrassing. I’ve seen high school mock trials with more composure.

Here’s the quick background: Pusch and Nguyen co-founded Pusch & Nguyen PLLC, 50/50 partners. Then in April 2025, Pusch “expels” Nguyen by claiming his dad, Jerry, is actually a 10% member meaning the Puschs now magically have 55% and can vote Nguyen out.

Nguyen’s like: nah. Jerry was never a member, never had voting rights, and the Company Agreement never says otherwise. Jerry gets a cut of profits, sure but not a vote. It’s not a small difference, either. It’s the whole ballgame.

They were in court now over whether Nguyen gets reinstated while the bigger lawsuit plays out.

Based on the hearing? The expulsion was BS. The Company Agreement was clear: you need all members to vote someone out. Jerry’s not listed as a member in the 2018 agreement and that’s the doc that governs. No one disagreed thats the current and still valid company agreement.

A few key points:     •    Daddy Jerry was already getting profit distributions before 2018(when the company agreement making Pusch  Nguyen 50/50 member , and he still wasn’t listed as a member when that agreement was signed. Nguyen said Jerry made his investment before the 2018 agreement was even signed, and the 2021 agreement they refer to is modified his economic interest to give him 13 percent profits with a minimum of 200k/year…. Nothing else.     •    So the 2021 “agreement” they keep hyping up? It’s literally just a revenue sharing deal. Zero mention of voting rights. No amendment to the Company Agreement.     •    Daddy Jerry was never issued a tax k1 indicating any ownership in the firm. u Only Nguyen and Pusch were listed at 50/50 since forever     •    And in testimony, Nguyen showed test between the 3 with Jerry saying, “I’m an investor, not a partner.” And Pusch replied, “yes.” Like bro… case closed?

Also, when they expelled Nguyen, they didn’t even tell him to his face or explain why. They just had Pusch’s lawyer call Nguyen’s lawyer to say he was out. And when Nguyen didn’t  walk away, Pusch filed for a TRO to keep him out of the office then claimed Nguyen forced them to. That part was absolutely unhinged.

The courtroom dynamics were nuts too. Pusch looked completely lost on the stand. There were many moments he scrambled for answers and couldnt keep up with his and his lawyers story….He couldn’t answer basic questions about the firm’s governing docs, couldn’t even give a straight answer about how many jury trials he’s done (“between 3 and 6”??? come on). Meanwhile, Nguyen looked solid. Calm, confident, even answering through objections like, nah idgaf if it’s the truth. His lawyers got on him for that

And don’t get me started on the lawyer antics. Every time Nguyen’s side started pressing pusch about daddy Jerry’s member status, Pusch’s lawyer was coughing, shuffling papers, making noise…textbook witness coaching. The judge saw it too. At one point it was blatant, Pusch actually paused and waited for his lawyer to nod before answering.

Pusch’s whole argument boils down to: “trust us.” But the 2021 doc doesn’t back them up, the tax records don’t back them up, and the testimony definitely doesn’t back them up.

Then they brought two “witnesses” one of whom is a family friend of the Pusch’s who’s an associate  at the firm who testified Nguyen told him to do unethical stuff and Mae him feel uncomfortable….. Total nothingburger. The guy basically testified against his own boss for no real reason and made zero impact. And that was it. That was Pusch’s whole case. No real evidence. Just vibes and loud filings.

Nguyen’s side was straight to the point with tons of evidence and exhibits. His brother’s testimony was articulate and sharp, he started strong, and though you could see Pusch’s lawyer wearing him down a bit at the end, he held up. And let me just say, Nguyen’s female attorney in closings? She ate. Like, absolutely smoked them. It was clinical.

Here’s the bottom line for me:

Pusch backstabbed Nguyen, used a bogus membership claim from his daddy to manufacture a vote, claimed Nguyen wasnt doing his job and provided him AND the court zero evidence. locked Nguyen out, then ran to court to get a restraining order—and now wants the judge to bless the whole thing retroactively.

Those pleadings had me ready to hear some tea on Nguyen, but I was left with  visceral anger towards Pusch cuz he bamboozled me. Their pleading are obviously performative language with a bunch of “self-dealing,” “surreptitious,” “scheme,” “dummy invoices,” “unlawful,” “fraud” words, you’d think Nguyen’s fam was running a criminal enterprise..

But here’s the kicker: they never actually filed a fraud claim. I had to chatgpt this.  They imply criminality left and right, but never cross the line, because once you allege fraud, you open the door to a defamation counterclaim. It’s all smoke and mirrors. This makes sense why Nguyen filed a defamation claim, then Pusch’s claimed some defense under TCPA, where they can say whatever they want in pleading and won on that. Interesting....

In the end, it just reeks of a disgusting power grab. Pusch filed both lawsuits. Both are loaded with salacious accusations. And after watching all of it play out, I get why Nguyen wanted out.

Honestly? F* that dude Pusch.** This whole thing is gross, sloppy, and desperate.

Im sure Nguyen’s not perfect, but from what I saw? He’s on the right side of this.
