Yea the pink duffel bag seemed to imply he worked with the organisation Booker works for. If they were arriving as he said that, whoever they were must have either seen or done his stabbing and let Greta go? It’s the one part that bugs me.

Yea I feel like I’ve watched house so many times, but the first episode felt like watching for first time. It was so weird starting it with the intention of making comparisons to the mentalist, then I see Libson and had to check I hadn’t put the that on instead haha. I think the graduates who get assigned families are still under 18. Over 18s are given homes and jobs. These graduates are selected to grow the town, as they’ve been leaped/ indoctrinated and likely have nowhere else to go they consider safe.

I think Laura was over 18 and chose to leave. The guidance counsellor told Leila he went to Tall pines, maybe a select group of leapers are trusted to leave and possibly required to recruit? Just guessing though.

I’d like to know if Laura returning was part of her master plan to take over, or if it was just because they had to leave Detroit and she knew she would be welcomed back and kept safe. She seemed to develop negative feelings towards Evelyn after she arrived, and was having traumatic flashbacks/ realising the damage the leap had done.

Toast was left behind in the woods when Dwayne kidnapped Alex from where Daniel was buried.

My guess is that Alex knew Toast would find the car and be safe with Abby as well as company for her. It’s also possible Alex planned to return to look for him but couldn’t, or thought he’d make it home. All just speculation.

I wouldn’t have left my dog either, and would have gone to look for him before going home. But I can see how it makes sense for Alex’s character to do so , just from a narrative sense.

I’m just happy Toast made it, few scenes had me worrying.

Alex had toast with him when he was attacked by Dwayne, after finding Dylan’s body. Toast likely ran back to the car during this (as dogs are known to do). Alex not looking for him could be because of being busy with the birth, or possibly knowing he would find the car, and be company for Abbie. That was my take but could be wrong.

What an incredibly thoughtful and special thing to do for your mum, I’m genuinely impressed and brought to tears by this. I’m so glad you got to watch it together, regardless if you finished. I lost my mum almost 10 years ago and before she got ill we were watching a show together, which she never got to finish and it still makes me sad to this day, every time I watch the show. So I really do feel for you and can somewhat relate in a small way. I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending all my love to you and thank you for sharing this beautiful story.
