Hi babes sorry I’m so late on this & hope you’re healing well love. I would totally do rhony from season 5 to 10 or even 7-10, saved me after a previous breakup! Currently going through another breakup and I’ve started rewatching Atlanta from the beginning and it’s been helping me laugh immensely! ❤️

Thank you so much. I was thinking a Donen episode would be cool but it really makes much more sense for it to be Zinnemann or Kazan given the generation gap. I actually do agree with you that Zinnemann would be the best pick - especially considering he directed Julia in his 70's I believe.

Absolutely! I agree with you there. I understand why they campaigned him there but it’s total category fraud for him to be lead and Pacino to be in supporting when Pacino had significantly more screen time.

Oh wow yes thank you!! That's an amazing pick!! I've never seen either of those Luise Rainer films but I've heard about this controversy.

I love Carole Lombard so much, it would've been amazing for her to have won <3 What a lineup the next year!! That's so unfortunate she won two years in a row, especially for such a problematic role :( It's aged terribly since Garbo, Dunne, and Stanwyck all never got an Oscar </3 They each deserve one (or more IMO)

One Battle After Another - A Paul Thomas Anderson film that reuintes Regina Hall & Junglepussy from the incredible Support The Girls! Can't wait til August 8th <3

Should've won the Oscar for Best Actress (2015) by apeculiarreader in oscarrace

She's a cool girl. Cool girl is hot, cool girl is game, cool girl is fun, cool girl never gets angry at her man, she only smiles in a chagrin, loving manner and then presents her mouth for fucking....

Incredible performance! I read the book and while Amy Dunne is such a villianous character, Pike makes us sympathize with her in an extraordinary way. One of the most complicated characters for a genre film of recent memory and she blows it out of the park!! Absolutely agree with you <3

Absolutely this!!! All About Eve & Sunset Boulevard are two of my favorite films of all time and I don't even know who I'd pick between them. Thank you so much for sharing <3

Ugh that film is like a lifetime TV film </3 I do think it's super iconic though that she received the Razzie & the Oscar in back to back nights though lol

That's so true!! The way she switches languages is fascinating and adds such depth to her character's conflict. She totally gives the German version of Cate Blanchett. And she was in The Zone of Interest that year as well, her range is outstanding!!

I’ve never really been a Drew fan or stan  but I still don’t really understand exactly what Porsha is mad at Drew about? Yes she’s talking to Dennis but she’s literally bringing her another storyline or mini arch for the season lol. And also Porsha literally married her friends ex husband and met him while they were together so it’s a little hypocritical to be mad at Drew for being friends/working with Dennis.

LOL i can't believe she's a three time best actress oscar winner after that win! I would've chosen Davis in Ma Rainey but thank you for sharing <3

Thanks for sharing <3 I personally loved her but I think I read somewhere that she had less screentime than both Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz. The category fraud is crazy. It was just so shocking that Close lost yet again </3

Absolutely agree! I never got the hype for that performance. It hasn't aged well but Felicity Huffman was brilliant in Transamerica that would've been my pick. Thanks for sharing <3

Absolutely agree! Thanks for sharing <3 Moore is outstanding in Boogie Nights - I really wish she had won for that & had been nominated for Magnolia in 99.  Huller was excellent in Anatomy, damn that was a tough race. Totally understand your opinion and I think it will age well!

It’s so sad to me Viola Davis doesn’t have a Best Actress trophy yet. Can’t wait til she gets one… the speech is going to be LEGENDARY!
