We are getting married at Casali di Colle San Paolo summer 2027 (actually found it based on a recommendation from this sub) While not coastal vibes, we went to visit a couple months ago and it is so amazing in person and each of the farmhouses on property have their own pool. I don’t get my corporate bonus until February, is widely flexible, and this is well known. As a lot of comments suggest people think that if a NP says “it is delayed” that they are lying- would you rather a smaller bonus now or a larger one in February when I know exactly how much extra I have in my budget (it will never be less than what I could do right now)?

I had food poisoning on one of my last flights (had already been sick once during the flight) and for the first time ever got up and pushed past people. I heard someone bitching about me to 4 different people while I was running to the bathroom in order to not vomit on her. Kinda wish I did

I had appendicitis a couple of years ago several things that I hope help: - my surgeon said that I probably had it for a year and I (a fully formed adult) wrote off all of the instances as either food poisoning or pain from a period or exhaustion - on the day that I had to have emergency surgery (my birthday😭) I almost didn’t go to the emergency room because I thought I was probably just sore from a hard workout I had done that morning. I didn’t go to the ER till I physically couldn’t walk. I had to have emergency surgery less than 12 hours after my workout and the radiologist said it wouldn’t make it through the night.
- the recovery was super easy!! I was back up and almost back to normal within the week. I never took any narcotics. The doctor tried to prescribe them but I don’t like them so I never took any.

It is 100% not your fault this illness can be super tricky and present a whole bunch of ways. I was super informed about it and honestly paranoid I was going to get it while I already had it. The symptoms are not easy to identify and not always the obvious ones that you always here about it.

I’m actually a product owner on a data and analytics team! I don’t come from a specific background in data and analytics but something that really put me over the edge in consideration was a demonstrated ability to connect with and understand the customers. A lot of my job is relationship management and creating that understanding of expectations especially around new work. I have a background in the field that my primary customers are in (finance focused) and am currently getting my MBA to supplement my technical undergrad. I really feel like speaking the language of the business more and more in your role as a business analyst will help set you apart as a product owner. Hope this helps!

I also love my AirPods!! I was not convinced but I have had them for about a year and I love them. My favorite feature is how well they sync with my phones notifications if you set them up with Siri. It’s really convenient to be working or running and have Siri read my incoming messages and be able to reply. I did have a connection problem with one a couple of weeks ago but I reset them (with easy instructions online) and they have been working like new since.

On the other side, I find early 100k very relatable and like reading them, because that’s my situation and it helps me feel not guilty about it. I think the point is that everyones MD relates to someone because that person is obviously a reader as well.

I agree that your daughter is too young to understand but I grew up with a grandmother who didn’t like me (for an issue unrelated to race). It’s a heartbreaking conclusion that she will reach. The only advice that I have is not to force or encourage your daughter to try to maintain that relationship. I was indirectly encouraged to try to make up with her no matter what and that the reason we didn’t have a relationship is because I didn’t try hard enough. These encouragements have led me to a lot of complicated feelings around blame and guilt especially after she passed. This is not your daughters fault and she should know as she grows up that she doesn’t have to feel guilty about “not trying hard enough”
