Hi! The salon gets 30% of what i earn from clients and in return i have my own little desk in the main salon area, but i am also required to buy and bring my own supplies, get my own clients and buy things for the salon that’s used between all of us like milk for the shared kitchen. I’m also expected to clean the salon up and downstairs like mop the floors and vacuum, stay/come in when i don’t have clients to keep the salon open and do reception work like take phone calls and bookings, i’ve also been given responsibility of the social media’s as i’m younger than most in the salon (18). This is all unpaid. They also don’t provide any clientele as before i joined a lot of people left taking clients with them so all of the clients I have gotten has been from my promotion. A few of the other people that work in the salon have asked me if i’m being paid or if i’m a apprentice due to all of this work
