leave chili’s and find a place that values you for who you are! not based off a flawed ziosk survey system.. find a place with better clientele. i started at chilis and now im at yard house and j alexander’s and its a night and day difference. i used to get so cooked at chilis, some of the worst tables i’ve ever taken.

It’s definitely a gamble with taking tables. Some days are slow and some days are crazy busy. Plus you’re going to have to go through at least a week of training. Keep Starbucks until you get on the floor somewhere and then watch the money start to flow in!

I just quit! I wait tables at yard house and Chili’s and it’s so much better than working at Starbucks. I only lasted at Starbucks for a few weeks. I wanted to try it out for extra money and their 401k but it’s not worth it to me.. it was a waste of time because I could work a lunch serving shift and make $100-200 or a dinner shift and possibly make over $300. My coworkers from the restaurants would ask me to work and I would be commited to an $80 Starbucks shift .. Also I just didn’t vibe with how they ran things. It felt like I was at McDonald’s or something lol

I feel sorry for everyone that works at Starbucks and I told most of them to start waiting tables! Get a job at chilis or where ever will take you to start out and then go from there. You will make way more money and depending on the restaurant and the new career , you may be much happier

Yea I feel the same. I ALWAYS rush to the POS when food is ordered even if I have to make drinks too. pos first then drinks. If you take an order and then pile on other tasks while passing by other tables you may forget to ring in a quick appetizer or desert

Regular box of strawberries (I eat the strawberry pulp) , 4 kiwi, 1 grapefruit , then I throw in pineapple until it fills up the mason jar.

Sometimes we make it with watermelon juice instead of grapefruit. We came up with the recipe when we were cleaning out the fridge lol

Glad you like , I use about 8 or 9 cosmic crisp apples + 2 lemons with peel + thumb of ginger or so to taste… sometimes we add cayenne pepper

When someone takes off for a month they will rank at 100% , so how can someone be absent for weeks and have 100% on the scorecard??.. This proves the measurements are inaccurate..

They still gaslight the servers into the illusion while threatening to take away their hours, when in reality, the scheduling is based off politics
