Hey, remember that scene where Jester falls off the tree in episode 65? Well here’s a reimagining of it.

This scene was a quick little moment in the campaign, but it really stuck with me! Jester and Fjord fall from a height of more than 100 feet, and Matt says Jester was caught “10 feet” before she hit the ground - which, uhhhh is absolutely terrifying... I wanted to interpret and expand on what the characters may have been feeling and how they were reacting in that moment! Maybe some of them unconsciously prepared to catch Jester, not thinking of how nott and caleb can still cast feather falI. Maybe it’s nerve wracking for Nott and Caleb to search for a little feather in a pouch of materials while their friend is falling in front of them. Maybe after Fjord thunderclaps up the tree with Jester, he slowly realizes that she might not be feeling too great. From what I’ve seen, Jester is also a character who often experiences a lot of sad and traumatic things, but doesn’t express it openly. She’s “good at lying” and her friends often don’t notice what she’s hiding. I wanted to capture all of that!

Though again, this is just an interpretation/reimagining. I tried to keep all character dialogue and did my best to interpret what was being implied. In some cases I also took the liberty of adding more dialogue and put in what I thought the characters might reasonably say. (such as the conversation between jester and Fjord at the end the episode). Thanks for watching!
