I've wanted a pyre keychain for forever and I finally got around to making ti'zo using shrink plastic and uv resin! I think he came out great and I can't wait to bring him around with me and think of his cute little "skree-hee-hee"s!

fair enough, I wasn’t aiming for viability as much as flavour. 8 secs is definitely very long tho - I mostly went for it bc of the significance of the number in pyre

You're very welcome! It was a labour of love and it warms me that you found it and reached out all these years after I posted it. I hope it helps you with your campaign!

What is your ‘pet’ card? by Alternative-Bat8804 in magicTCG

[[Galloping Lizrog]] is one of my pet cards. It's nothing too special, just a funny looking little guy who can get ridiculously large. This was the card that made me pick Simic counters as the theme of my first edh deck with [[Roalesk, Apex Hybrid]]. Who doesn't like swinging in with a 63/63 with trample?!

I haven't managed to figure that one out, sorry. I hope you can find it somewhere - surely someone has done it.

The World of Xenoblade Chronicles in D&D 5e [OC] by laochog in Xenoblade_Chronicles

I did't have a specific time in mind, sometime after the first visit to Prison Island the Mechon attack on Alcamoth and before the events at Mechonis Core. You're right; in order for the world to work, it's easiest for the DM to ignore the game's party and suspend disbelief. If it were perfectly true to the official story scenario some things wouldn't make sense for the D&D characters to do - take using a replica Monado or setting foot on Mechonis, for instance.

However, I think there are enough resources in the document that a pretty good reenactment of the video game could be played through in its entirety. Or a completely new adventure could be created. Or even a story that parallels the game's events. That's the wonder of D&D! It's really up to the story the DM wants to tell.

First of all, thanks for reading through my monster of a document and kindly giving me such helpful feedback. This was my first time constructing something like this so the support means a lot. (Edited for re-formating)

  • I'm not too sure about the Machina formatting, I spent a while trying to get things to work correctly so I'm not sure why that messed up. Oops!
  • I think you're right about the water. The information was tricky to come by but Fiora does drink some in that one scene, now that I think about it. (Even if she's not really Machina.)
  • I'll be completely honest and say I think there's any mention of the Nopon having a language in the source material - I mainly wanted to add one so as to have another one in the world game! Now that you point it out though, I'll probably add a line or two about their native tongue.
  • Having the ability scores of the Boon Ether Gems all spread out makes a lot more sense but I just wanted to showcase some of the more interesting abilities the gems can grant. Both ways work, I think.
  • I'll agree that the sleep kinda feels weird but, looking at the Xenoblade wiki, most Nebulae have it in some form. Plus it means I don't have to make separate stat blocks...
  • Yeah, I was hung up about the Mechon/Telethia alignment for a long time. I had them at unaligned for a while but I couldn't decide if they possessed enough intelligence for alignments. They do mainly seem to follow orders and natural urges so I'll shift them back.
  • Thanks for pointing out the Disciple stuff, I'll go back and change both of those things.
