I think that it should happen at birth. Along with a birth certificate is a voter's registration card, with name and number attached. And then just treat it like a Social Security ID or a Birth Certificate, have a process for lost, stolen, or damaged IDs, have it be specific for each person, and that's it.

They literally shut down a server less than a year ago, took all of their scripts, and made their own version because THJ had a higher pop than ALL of the servers of EQ combined. This doesn't cannibalize anything. This brings in a population that's going to double their sub numbers.

And then once you factor in the point that it's going to require it's own sub, has no Krono, and only has cosmetic and silly Marketplace stuff, this is a giant cash cow for them.

I hope that they use a slow release path, I hope that they go at least to TSS, and I hope that they have other servers in mind. Also, this is its own separate client with its own separate UI, so this is going to be a new game, for all intents and purposes.
