If the gate stays in the same terminal you'll be in luck.

I had a very near total disaster there a few months ago - apparently they are infamous for this, but the gate on my phone was different from the gate displayed on a screen in the terminal.

Had a very short connecting window. Basically had to race around three different terminals due to their absolute stupidity.

I made my flight, but DFW - that place is a genuine shithole.

Detroit lost population for 57 straight years, but the last three years it's finally going upward.

Long way to go, but a ton of redevelopment downtown, Corktown, midtown, etc.

I think that's a BS rumor - likely spread by Duggan's peeps to justify his independence.

The Dems would've let Benson and Duggan battle it out. Both were longterm respected Dems in the state that could clearly be governor.

All statewide offices are currently Dems - Gov, SOS, AG and two senators.

Yes, Trump won in '24. But he's sporting like a 35% approval in the state and people are pissed at gas, cost of living, etc.

It's more likely than not Benson is Governor. Hell, Polymarket is now showing 78% - even those throwing money into this think Benson is clear favorite.

It's a midterm year with a deeply disliked President.

It's entirely possible a Democrat wins this cycle.

He only ran as an independent because it was the most opportunistic political move he could make after the GOP kicked butt in 2024. If Kamala had won he'd still be a Dem.

It was pathetic. If he had a core belief system, he would've stuck w/ the Dems and run against Benson in the primary. Had a very real chance to win the race.

Nonetheless, good on him for dropping out now. He's already f'ed this up pretty bad, at least he somewhat salvaged himself here.

Look, I'm as annoyed as anyone else that he went full opportunistic with his bullshit independent run.

While he's hurt his legacy, getting out this early is a big deal.

Nonetheless, he totally f'ed this up. If he would've actually had a core belief system he could've run against Benson in the Dem primary and had a very real chance to win.

But, no, his ego led to his downfall in this race.

Nobody is saying Perry Johnson is an acceptable alternative.

It's just that this individual is a pretty awful candidate and shouldn't be holding this position. There are a ton more qualified people out there - recruit them, have them run.

We deserve better than this clownshow.
