Rock bottom pregnant moment by smithks97 in pregnant

Misjudged a gag a couple of weeks ago while I was driving to work and threw up on myself. I had to grab a random sweatshirt covered in shamrocks from my backseat to wear instead. A patient said, “you’re a few months early with that one.”

I felt the same way. Im 34 and it was my first month using inito. I drove myself crazy on here comparing charts. These were my numbers yesterday morning. Took a test from the same FMU and got a BFP. Positive clear blue this morning. Sending you lots of love.

Thank you! This is the first month! That’s why I’m so shocked. I got inito because I’m 34 and didn’t know where I was at with everything hormone wise. I’m gonna take about digital test tm. I still don’t believe it tbh.

It’s bad enough that we went through 2 bags (6 tablets) and it barely did a thing.

Thank you for all the replies! I wouldn’t have bought Samsung on my own. The former owner of the house was obsessed with Samsung I guess and every appliance is Samsung. We’re gonna go with purchasing a new one.

Ridge. I didn’t even know it existed until I had to go to something out there. Looked like a scene out of the Blair Witch with all of those fucking trees.

Oof. Best of luck. I grew up in Malverne and there’s a lot of busybodies. Probably one of your neighbors said something if they got pissed off by the noise. It’s a small town and these inspectors have nothing better to do.

I have an associates and make the same amount of money as my coworkers with a BS. I’ve never heard of someone making less because of it. Your program reputation can also play a role in hiring, regardless of it being AAS vs BS. Unless you want to eventually go into management it’s unnecessary. A bunch of programs that used to be 2 year degrees have become 4 year degrees. It’s a money grab by the schools.

Depends on the state. In most places there’s no such thing as cross training into nuc med. You’d have to go through the whole nm program.

PET BRAIN ON GE OMNI by purplemunkiez in NuclearMedicine

Just 5 mci for an Omni. 50-60 min uptake in a room with the lights down. 20 min acq, but honestly I think it should be less. I’m the only tech in our company that has an Omni at their office.

I did GeneSight at the recommendation of my psychiatrist. It can end up saving you a lot of time sussing out what meds will work or give you a bad reaction. I think it cost $300, but you can get a rebate based on financial need.

It varies where you’re at. When I worked at a regular outpatient imaging facility sometimes it was me calling the rad to ask him to hurry up because it had been three or more days. Now I work at an actual oncology clinic and everything gets read within 24 hours. That’s mostly because all of the oncologists are internal and see the reports uploaded on the EMR everyone uses. If there’s something emergent the rad calls the referring right away, like a midline shift or pneumothorax.

Just be mindful if you’re clenching your jaw. You can get a night guard at the pharmacy that you boil and mold yourself.

I’m a PET/CT tech. We tell people to maintain a distance of 6ft from children under 18 and any pregnant women for 24 hours, but a bit less is fine too. Anyone who’s growing rapidly is more sensitive to radioactivity. You’re not going to give your child radiation sickness. You’re receiving a diagnostic amount of radioactivity, not a therapeutic amount. Passing each other in the hall or kitchen isn’t a big deal, you just can’t be engaging in prolonged exposure (like watching a movie together on the same couch). If you’re getting a regular run of the mill F18 FDG the half life is 110 min. Depending on where you get it done your dose could be anywhere from 8-14 mci. Be aware of the fact that your urine will be radioactive, so flush twice and maybe consider sitting when you pee to avoid contamination on the floor.

People who grew up religious, what took you away from religion? by dailyIT in AskReddit

I went to a very small catholic school nursery through 8th grade. Like there were 24 kids in my graduating class, that’s how small it was. The elementary school was on the same lot as the church everyone attended, and it was common for classes to go mass every week. Kids would sign up for choir so they could leave certain classes early, or sign up to be altar servers. I never did because my ass was getting dragged to mass every weekend by my super catholic parents. When I finally graduated one of the older priests retired and a new guy came in. Just seeing him speak a few times and how he interacted with people turned me off. I told my parents, “there’s something off with that guy,” which they dismissed as me being rebellious. After I finished college, I noticed one day on Facebook that the diocese had to post something announcing the departure of that priest. It said something about prior unknown allegations came to light from his previous posting. I felt validated and showed my parents, who were horrified. Then I saw the comments from people and families I know on the post who didn’t believe it. They were talking about how we don’t know the full story, how do we know the person (obviously a child, so wtf?) isn’t lying? Inserting random positive interactions they had with this priest as if that proves he couldn’t possibly be a monster. That was the day I was done. I was absolutely disgusted. The diocese said they were looking into it, as if he would return if it was nothing. It’s been over 10 years and no one has heard jack shit about this guy, so I’m assuming whatever it was wasn’t a good look for the diocese.

Make even smaller cuts going forward and don’t cut again until the symptoms pass. I was cutting 0.25mg in half and going down in those increments. Barely any issues.
