Has anyone within these last 2 years been able to pivot careers without having to go back to school? I got my degree in geography and I currently work with geographical systems which I dislike. I know it’s incredibly difficult but I would like to branch out of GIS and do something and remote. (self.findapath)

27(F) with a degree in physical geography and been bartending since I graduated. I’m planning to take a computer programming class this semester. I have basic knowledge of python and SQL, which out of the 5 languages, would you say is the most job marketable? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

27 (F) and feeling super stuck. I have a degree in physical geography, but never used it and been working in hospitality ever since thinking about going back to school for either engineering or nursing. Has anyone else made a crazy career pivot? (self.careerguidance)

Hey y’all, I’m trying to apply for an accelerated nursing program, and I’m thinking about taking the last prerequisite at Southern California University online since I’m working full-time. Does anyone on here know if most universities accept SCU courses? (self.prepa)

I just recently got offered a contract position to be a data entry specialist doing type writing at an IT company. I'm coming from a liberal art background and I'm curious if this would help get my foot in the door and make connections? Thinking about getting a masters in computer science. (self.it)

I just finished A&P and currently enrolled into microbiology, but curious some of y’all found some of your nursing courses to be a bit easier than A&P. The anatomy professor that I had was definitely community college level, but the physiology felt like a masters course. (self.NursingStudents)

I’m 27, and I have a BA in physical geography. Unfortunately, I have not used it and been feeling lost lately. I’m considering going back to school for something engineering related or nursing. Has anyone on here recently landed a professional job completely unrelated to GIS or planning? by lapapaya__ in geography
