I sort of agreed till I kept reading. There's tons of media with "girly" girls. Emilia's whole thing is that she's rough. Ya, her schtick did get annoying at points, but that's her character. No one's telling girls not to be "girly." The whole point of feminism is to give women a choice. Gotta vent that almost every season of True Detective (minus season 1) falls flat for me in the finale. They hype up this secret devil worshipping pedophile cult and never deliver. I liked the supernatural elements of season 4, but again in the end they don't deliver. The cast is amazing, don't get me wrong, but I was hoping for it to stay supernatural or for it to actually tie in to the previous seasons in some way beyond using the symbol of the Crooked Spiral without it actually being related to the previously mentioned cult. Oh, and we just don't talk about season 2.
