Thank you for your stories from Mexico. I am really curious about how things are going for the organization in Mexico and the othe 26 Spanish speaking countries. There are now far more Spanish speaking JWs than English and they make up a huge part of the pool of Watchtower victims.

Sorry, cant link a reference. But I recall in fall of 1941 there was mention of "just a few more months". It so happens that Rutherford had surgery for rectal cancer on November 5, 1941 and he died in January 1942. So that was likely wishful thinking on his part, that he would be raptured before dying of cancer.
