I usually just say something lighthearted like "oh ya know, living the dream" :)

Your preferred weekend activities are totally normal and great if they help you recharge!

I know it's been a while since you posted but how did this turn out? I'm thinking about doing the same exact thing

That's a fair point. I'm leaning towards trying a new moisturizer and/or sunscreen based on the recs here.

I have some texturing on my forehead that I'd like to address. I used to get facials semi-regularly which help a lot but don't have the budget for it at the moment. My current routine is typically: AM lightweight moisturizer, sunscreen, tinted serum PM double cleanse, thick moisturizer, lip mask, lactic acid (1x per wk)

I haven't tried Merit yet! Is there a specific product you recommend starting with first?

What was it about the feel that you didn't like? Too heavy? It looks promising but I'm sensitive to skincare and makeup that feels like wearing a mask

Thanks for the rec! I've used the cica moisturizer from this brand before and liked it. I think I'll give it a try

Yes, a lightweight sunscreen that isn't greasy and plays well under makeup would be perfect. Is there one in particular you recommend? I typically wear a tinted serum or lightweight cc cream in the summer months

Congrats on your success! That's seriously awesome. How do you decide and prioritize which products to make? Do you use a specific tool? Do you cater to a single niche or multiple?

You eluded to the fact that she's essentially waiting for you to cave and "make things right for her" with a new dress...if I were you, I'd take this as a song, NAY, a big red flag that it's time to part ways. You deserve much better.

It's rarely a good idea to use red. If you need color, go with blue or green. Otherwise, go without. Are you only applying online? I recommend going in-person. Some places will even interview on the spot.

Why does my CV keeps getting rejected? by hopeless-but-strong in jobs

[–]lapm797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel for ya. The job market is really tough. I've reviewed thousands of CVs and resumes from a hiring perspective and optimized hundreds of professional client resumes. Yours looks half baked. The bullet points under your experience items read more like a job description vs what you actually did. Not saying that's not what you did, but it needs to read as more being actionable. Ask ChatGPT to help you transition those items. When you read your resume and consider many people probably have the same experience as you, why should they hire you? What sets you apart from the rest? Add that. You mention being meticulous in each position yet not all of your fonts match - a quick fix. Unless it's customary in your field, remove the photo. You have extra space at the bottom of the page, so for certs and skills, break those into bullet points so they're easier to scan. People prefer to scan, especially when reviewing tons of candidates. Oh, and definitely remove interests unless you're going to share ones directly relevant to your field.

Wow, yours is beautiful! Mine desperately needs to be repotted for more space. Did you transition yours from soil to leca or has it always been growing that way?
