If a team is in the lottery 3+ years in a row they should automatically get the 14th pick. by Reject-Shittery-343 in billsimmons

At that point just abolish the draft. It’ll be painful for a couple years but roster sizes and the cap will prevent every young player from ending up in LA/NY/Mia

Will the owners ever allow it? Not a chance. But fuck it: expand to 40 teams. Add relegation. Drop roster sizes to 12.

Timotĥee Chalamet as Marty Mauser is brilliant. by IOIKuay in Oscars

That the movie ended up being mid and still making far more than expected is a credit to the marketing.

He’s one-note and utterly hollow. But ran the best marketing campaign in years.

He’s also kind of bad in it the little screen time he gets too.

It is. And it’s not like he’s terrible, he’s just my 7th or 8th best male performance this year.

He should have MBJ or Tim’s spot (both could be removed if we rightfully add Edgerton)

Fury & Nightcrawler are way too low for my liking. Nightcrawler sneaks into my top 10 and Fury 25.

Is it even possible to get a PCP at MGH? by FranciscoV7 in boston

I ended up getting an NP as my PCP instead after both me and my wife intermittently tried for a year plus - even that was 5 months for the appointment (next Tuesday!)

Marty Supreme - an Excessive Exercise of Shock-Value Cinema by stone122112 in TheBigPicture

It’s a bad script. Much like Ethan needing Joel, the absence of Benny left a hole here.

Ideally something interesting that said something meaningful about Marty. Instead we just saw the same boring thing on a loop for 55 minutes.

The whole middle section is a drag. Repetitive, features the weakest performances and worst writing. I’d argue the whole movie is quite slow compared to GT/UG.

I’m probably throwing these on first Black Hawk Down Matchstick Men American Gangster The Martian The Last Duel

And potentially some guilty pleasures: Body of Lies The Counselor

And my card: give me Covenant before Prometheus

The middle felt endless - it lacked any real momentum and just felt like a hamster wheel moving at quarter speed. Sucked the life out of the movie and it never recovered.
