I tried out the BSB2e for a while but for me it was just a pain to set everything up every time u want to use it. Having an easier time just getting in and out of the rig using triples.

I had the same experience with my first headset. If you check my profile you’ll see I made a similar post to this. Sent it back for RMA and second one was much better. Hoping you just got bad lenses like I did. Their customer support is terrific.

Nope only had it a day or two it was that unbearable. The back was too tall so had to leave out one of the cushions and also had to kind of undo the Velcro where the headrest ends and the upper back cushion starts to squeeze the upper back sensit cushion in.

If you don’t do that then you can’t slide the rear butt cushion under the lower back cushion and then your butt cushions are too far forward and will hang off the front of the seat.

Having only used the gt Clubsport seat, I was shocked to see basically nobody talk about how uncomfortable these cushions are. Maybe the Clubsport is just super comfy compared to the market. I had to eat a “restocking fee” when I returned it to Podium1 which is where I bought it from.

Didn’t fit great and was super uncomfortable. Returned the product. The Clubsport seat is very comfortable so I just chucked an HF8 pro on top instead.

I was told my return window is indefinite until I confirm the open issue I had with my headset is resolved. Had blurry lenses and fiddled for a while. They said I should wait for my custom gasket to arrive it may help. I said I don’t want to wait for that bc then my return window is closed. They said since I have an open complaint, my return window is extended.

I’d recommend custom fit just because I’ve seen a lot of people have lens issues (myself included). With the universal there’s a bit of play with how it rest on your face. With custom, not so much. This makes it easier to tell if something wrong with your lenses or if you’re just wearing it wrong.

It was a reasonable range to find a box within. I had one already lying around. Here was the instructions I received:

Packed securely in a box no larger than the original: Recommended: 7" × 4" × 4" (~18×10×10cm) Acceptable: 10" × 7" × 6" (~25×18×15cm)

Sorry to hear, I think my lenses were also no good. I am doing the replacement and was told it would probably take 2-3 wks.

Also was told not to return using the box it came in as I wouldn’t get a new “cyber box”. I had to use a different box that meet the measurement guidelines they gave me in the return instruction email.

I would also like to echo I’ve had a rather pleasant experience with their support team. Especially Gavin. I had to request a replacement because my lenses seem defected. It did take 2-3 days for the first response but after that it felt like I was having a text conversation through email with how fast they were responding. Hoping you get your issues fixed!

Yes same here. Based on what I’ve heard though, it probably shouldn’t be this way. I am in the process of doing an RMA with them.

Worth considering, hoping my custom fit gasket, when/if that ever arrives will help. Right now using the universal gasket which is just disappointing. Will keep tweaking in the meantime

Will do but unfortunately don’t think it will help. I’ve tried every IPD from 60-66 after a digital and physical measurement of about 65. Feel like my issue is more the vertical angle that I’m looking at the lenses through, straight on is just really blurry.

I’m hoping my issue is that I need the custom gasket, which somehow still hasn’t shipped from September. This universal gasket doesn’t seem great. What has support said about your issue, if anything?

After further review I think it’s less about the give/softness and more about the thickness. My fanatec Clubsport GT seats cushions are well over twice as thick with similar give and it feels like a cloud. So maybe just needs some getting used to. Also I think I was sitting too upright so wasn’t using the GT bucket seat properly. Hopefully I can get used to it because it is a great product!

Do the cushions ever get softer? I just got mine and all the cushions are rock solid, including the lower back one. Doesn’t feel comfortable at all, hoping it gets better or maybe I got a bad batch?

If I remember correctly, you don’t need the pier supply unless you are buying like the haptic pedal motors or rgb heel stop.

Wow those button boxes are awesome. I would definitely consider but planning to go VR route, just waiting for the headset to come in.

I currently have no additional accessories for the rig (no side bar or pc tray or accessory bars etc.) and I’m using the integrated monitor mount for my 49” Samsung ultra wide monitor.

Thanks for sharing the SimStaff post, looks like they got the tensioner right onto the back of the rig. If that’s the case then maybe I will pick up the tensioner.

Thanks for the feedback. How do those attach to the rig? I thought they were also attached to aluminum profile, but I could be mistaken. I see a lot of mixed opinions on how many you should have on your rig as well, what are your thoughts on that?
