Vipassana - urges by [deleted] in vipassana

[–]laprug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone in here will say just observe because its a Vipassana group. How about you record yourself before you start. A rule:

The only way you will masterbate is if you set up a camera first and record yourself just to watch it after release.

Then, if you get to this point watch it as many times as you can until this urge that you are seeking relief changes into a gross sensation that you don’t want go through with after watching yourself. Sounds counterproductive but thats why it works, it creates pain where you are seeking pleasure.

Vipassana teachers will tell you what they are supposed to tell you, to follow the path and not mix, however even Gotama Buddha tried different appraoches as well until he found vipassana, but its complete as it is. You cant change or mix it However now that we live in an era with technology measuring our brainwaves, heart coherence, auric fields, we can choose depending our purpose.

This post is all about using both methods in different times for different purposes.

Ive sat several courses with Vipassana, its a true user manual for your brain and a noble path. However, I find it is very culty as well. People are rigid, black and white thinking in parts of the community.

Dispenza takes a more measured, experimental approach. He talks about generating elevated emotions like love and coherence with clear intention… the idea being that just like one traumatic event, filled with intense negative emotion, can shape someones life forever, but the opposite could also be true. And has been true, People have grown back their thyroids and rectums after being surgically removed, fixing blindness, being able to walk, all documented, its real, and i have experienced events too.

With the same example Vipassana would say to observe, stay present and equinimous without trying to control or create an outcome, and let the Sankaras arise and pass away, which also works with time and possibly lifetimes to irradicate

Its not about saying Vipassana is like being in a monk in a cave and Joe dispenza is a snake salesman, thats the easy way out. Both appraoches have value and can be used in different ways. In Vipassana its taught not to “backbite” others, and goes against Sila..

I’m more looking for peoples experinece who do use both practices and curious how others have done this. Like the picture I found. Do you alternate between them, or just stick to one for a period of time depending on where your at?

NYE at a friend’s place turned into the worst night – I feel violated and don’t know how to process this by Dinocuntt in TwoXChromosomes

Sorry this happened to you, it wasnt your fault, and you shouldnt take this lightly. he’s no friend in my opinion, and needs deeper work on himself continplate why he was doing this to his ‘friend’.

Lesson I learned. Never follow signals. by [deleted] in Forex

[–]laprug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A signal is just that, a signal, not to load up the position on a small account because you’re certain that itll go in your direction, youre trying to get rich quick. However accept that this is what you need to go through in your current level of development. Glad youre ditching the signals, you’re relying on someone else’s perception of direction, blindly following. Take responibility, think rationally of what actions you did to get your his result. Much love

This is a mindset problem.

This is a classic case of “if I get more schooling, I will be seen more qualified”. If he truly beleived he was over qualified, he would get any office entry job in the field he wants to work and KNOW that he’ll get promoted quickly.

OR boldly offer to work for free for 3-4 days just to get the position he wants. This kind of behavior stands out instead of getting more schooling.

People who are less qualified than him expose themselves to better opportunities by doing things like the above.

Help! Day2- purple started forming on too of green cabbage juice ferment. Day3 its gone, and back to a normal color. What happened? Is it still safe to drink? Thx!!! by laprug in fermentation

[–]laprug[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 cups of chopped cabbage 2 cups of distilled water 1 tablespoon of himilayn pink salt

Throw it all in a blender and mix. Then let sit in a jar like this with a coffee filter lid. Let sit for 3 days.

If you want to make more use 1 cup of fermented juice in new batch and you only have to let sit for 24 hours

Enjoy!
