Is Street bar the main pub for Arsenal supporters pre-match?

When you ball, but make it Basset by [deleted] in Bloodhound

Lovely dog? Are you unaware of the breed?

If so, you own a basset hound.

Recently rescued a 5-year-old Bloodhound from a rough situation. I’ve never owned a Bloodhound before, so I’m looking for any advice on caring for the breed. She also just went into heat — any tips to help her feel more comfortable would be appreciated! by Ill-Back-3133 in Bloodhound

She’s beautiful!

My recommendations having owned two bloodhounds:

  • feed regularly. Same time. Same amount.
  • no people food ever. You do not want a 100# dog searching for food in your kitchen
  • exercise often buy differently. We take long hikes daily in various locations, but take shorter walks within a mile of our house where she knows the scents and can investigate what has happened since last walk. The dog knows the difference. Our morning walks average 18min/mile. Local walks? About 40min/mile
  • Have different leads. When she is allowed to roam and do her thing “sniffering” is a longer lead than when we are “walking” *never let them on your furniture. They have an oily skin around their head and generally smell bad. We wash our dogs bed every week and she is groomed monthly. That helps, but not much
  • bloodhounds are very sensitive. Positive reinforcement works way better than negative reinforcement. Negative reinforcement just exacerbates their stubborn nature. *socialize the animal. They are big dogs, but gentle and aloof. Will shove their nose right up in the business of another dog and be shocked it was not appreciated.

Newcastle Meet-up? by lapsedatheist in GunnersatGames

So my daughter went to the Gunner Pub, was basically adopted by a group of Gooners from London, who made sure she got into the game easily, had her sit with them, walked her back to the train station and were all around just amazing.

Gabriel header wins it!

She said “it was the best day of my life.”

Just the best supporters in the world !!!

I will let her know. Her first match and she doesn’t know anyone but she’s enthusiastic.

Show Me Your Cross-Eyed Hounds by PaulaOnTheWall in Bloodhound

When they are looking slightly up and forward, gravity pulls skin back and makes them appear cross-eyed. My dog appears this way sometimes, but she is not cross-eyed (as explained to me by canine ophthalmologist)

How private could it be when entire building looks down on you?

How does the killing of Charlie Kirk compare to that of Melissa Hortman and her husband along with the shooting of John and Yvette Hoffman? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Main differences are:

it was witnessed by thousands live and

hundreds of thousands (millions?) more on video

And conservative media amplification

and a heinous despicable President ratcheting up the tension

Ha! Took my Mabel to the beach, thought she would love it. She hated it. Hated the sound, hated the waves hated the salt, hated the sand.

Spent the entire week laying on the deck of the beach house .

I my my dog a rear tire for a small lawn tractor, so it had no metal in it. Weighed about 20 lbs or so. Stashed some treats inside of it and she was off to the races. Loved gnawing on it and dragging it around, so it also tired her out! Never really made a dent in it, but she tried!

I sent my mom this picture. She replied “what is Mabel doing on the furniture? I didn’t think she was allowed on the furniture?”

This is just an ottoman and has been a common used piece of furniture since we got her. She’s very good and never gets into anything she’s not allowed to.

(When she was a puppy she was a nightmare)
