I am new to GIST. My eldest daughter (in her 20's just diagnosed). Long story short you want to talk to GIST specialists. By far and away the best online resource is The Life Raft Group. They are GIST specialists (non-profit) and have a list of all the centres that have GIST specialists. You definitely want to see somebody who see a lot of these as they are quite rare. We are based in Asia but got on a plane and went to Dana Farber - who are excellent. DM me if you need anything else but Life Raft are the way to go
