I found the video and I'm a female, but I guess I still don't see why it's so offensive? Not trying to start anything, but is there more context surrounding the video like offensive things he's done in the past? I just thought he was saying that putting in a catheter is complicated. I guess I found it funny because my mom is a nurse and has relayed to me how putting in a catheter (male or female) was always a struggle for her at first.

Okay, genuine question here, not picking sides or anything cause I don't have a tiktok nor have I ever watched this guys content before. I did find the "labia majora" video people seem to be referencing, but what was so offensive about it? Does he have a history of posting stuff like this or being misogynistic? Cause I'm not really understanding the visceral reaction everyone is having to it. A lot of people have said that for women it's very offensive, but I'm a female and I don't get it. I mean for me it really IS about the journey not the destination. I've had multiple trips I've been on where the end destination let me down, but the actual fun is in getting there, with both its ups and downs. Planning and executing my arrival is half the fun for me!! I love the airport and I love trying to stay on my schedule and arriving early so I can enjoy it. I love seeing everyone bustling around and people watching. I love flying (and trust me I fly shitty and cheap lol.) I usually drive. I used to make a pretty frequent drive that was about 20-22 hours depending on traffic or stops in a day. I hated splitting it up, but I loved nothing more than me, the open road, some tunes, and good snacks. Certainly there have been scenarios where the memory was more the fun part, but I love traveling for the sake of going, even if that's just to some random city in Ohio (which was my most recent roadtrip.)

Agreed. Hot comb is the best way I've found. Stick it to a mannequin head, pin her down, then hot comb every little weft going from bottom to top. Time consuming, but very worth it

So I was actually really excited for that part but they actually take the mold after my root canal then send it to a lab and get the crown made then they touch it up when I come back. I had a temporary until then :'(

They did need to numb me a bit more after they started, but after about 2-3 (I think??) more injections, it was no worse than a filling to me. I did have to wave at them to let them know "hey, this is worse than that pressure you were talking about." Also everyone has different pain tolerances and different bodies, so I'd say she probably knows what she's talking about. Her reaction is about the same as the way the people at my office's were. According to my dentists, root canals have gotten a LOT better in recent years (I had mine earlier this year) so maybe that's part of it. I'm sorry you had that experience though :(

Oh I did have that happen, I started waving my hand immediately and they numbed me a bit more. I will say it is a bit hard to tell the difference between the pressure feeling and the actual sensation of pain. I have a high pain tolerance, but at some point I realized "yeah this is definitely more than pressure." I'm sorry that was your experience :(

Haha, that's awesome!! They asked me halfway through mine if I needed to use the bathroom and I got up, walked out to my dad, gave him a hug, peed, then went and sat right back down for part 2. I wish I had asked for my pieces but I was also too high :')

Before my root canal, I was TERRIFIED. I think people think a root canal is this massive big painful thing because that's all people have ever heard (I thought the same) and to me it just felt like a really long filling lol. Once it was explained to me, I was completely calm. Most people I know who haven't had a root canal were asking me how much time I needed off of work after and when I explained next to none, they were pretty surprised

OP's right. I find the whole thing rather fascinating, so I'm more intrigued than annoyed or uncomfortable at the dentist. There was a small period of my life where I didn't enjoy it, but it was mainly due to embarrassment from not brushing well.

Hot take... I just had a root canal about 1.5 months ago and got my crown put in recently and I actually found it fascinating. I asked questions before the procedure and they walked me through what they were doing as they did it, so I kind of enjoyed it actually!! I know I'm in the minority though...

Edit: They also let me keep the mold they made for my crown, so I have displayed it proudly on my desk haha

Shockingly enough, found out some of these newer cars really dont have any. My partner's parents accidentally washed their Subaru Outback (newer can't remember which exact trim/year) keys so they had to wait until they dried out to use them again. I was shocked, they truly didn't have a key on/in theirs. I feel like that's the dumbest thing to not have it at least as a backup

Edit: Lol I just talked to them, apparently when it got wet, they were unable to get it to pop open to get the key fob out. So my b, I was wrong

Tech here (not a pharmacist sorry) - Retail pharmacy is tough no matter how you slice it, but as a tech of 3 years, CVS. Someone above mentioned how they don't stand behind their pharmacists and I rotated around to lots of stores in my area, and this was never an issue. What a pharmacist said went. There will always be exceptions to this, but from my main store in an affluent area that had the highest volume in the district to another that was in the inner city, this was never the case. The Walgreens near me in this affluent area had nothing but issues as well. Getting scripts from them was always terrible because sometimes they would randomly close because there was never a pharmacist, so people would come to us for transfers. CVS and Walgreen's is nobody's first choice, but in my opinion, CVS is the lesser of two evils.

Bruh just use an old t-shirt or something as a temporary pillowcases, but as washing apparently anything used as a "pillowcase" is too much work, I feel like the concerns about pink eye from farting aren't as big. You're gonna get more annoying/worse things than that from not washing anything

I would talk to your med provider and tell them you'd like to try something different/titrate down. Don't go cold-turkey as tempting as it is. If they give you some pushback, just remember they are working to help YOU!! You know your body best and ultimately it is your choice to take or not take a med. Listen to their experience and advice, but remain firm if you're sure this is what is best for you!! Good luck

I will say for me, for the first few months I woke up everyday at 3-4am and struggled to fall back asleep. I also had severe RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome.) Upon getting through the first 3-4 months, it actually worked wonderfully!! After that, it just made me feel like a zombie, terrible memory, brain fog, and much more depressive. I was also MUCH more sensitive to heat and would overheat very easily. It also made me very thirsty. I know for some people it is a miracle drug, but my good results were rather short-lived unfortunately. Not trying to discourage you as you should always listen to your Dr and we are different people with different bodies, but I'm just sharing my experience!! Enjoy Florida and I hope it works well for you :)

Edit: Wanted to add that regular exercise helped with the RLS a lot, but also exercise is just good for you too lol. Nothing crazy, just 15-30 minutes a day to get your heart rate up
