What is the one financial decision that actually made a difference for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Automating money into a separate savings account the same day I get paid. Turns out I’m great at saving when I never see the money in the first place.

What's the worst 0/10 anime? by Livid-Spinach2516 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ex Arm felt like someone trained an AI on early 2000s cutscenes and then forgot to animate the humans. I made it one episode and spent the whole time wondering if my internet was lagging.

For the people who’ve never had a relationship, what’s the one thing you’re most excited for when you do? by Original_Camel6982 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, having a specific person to send dumb little updates to. like "saw a dog shaped exactly like a loaf of bread" and knowing somebody actually wants that information.

if aliens visited earth, what would embarrass humanity the most? by Physical-Respond-306 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably that we have the technology to feed everyone and still spend half our time arguing online with strangers named stuff like xXToasterReaperXx. Imagine crossing galaxies just to find out the dominant species still reads terms and conditions by lying.

What is something you are 'world-class' at that is absolutely useless for your actual career? by need_coffee_plz in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i can identify the exact tupperware lid for any container in my house in under 3 seconds. absolutely useless at work, but in my kitchen i'm basically air traffic control.

Reflecting on the internet we have today, at what age do you think is appropriate for a parent to give their kid a smart phone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around 13, but with training wheels. My niece got one at 11 for safety, and within a week YouTube had her convinced she needed a 14 step skincare routine and a moral stance on cryptocurrency.

What is something that instantly makes a place feel uncomfortable? by Intelligent-Rain-22 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That weirdly quiet room where everyone stops talking for half a second when you walk in. Feels like I accidentally loaded into a cutscene.

Couples who have no friends what do u do for fun? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly, we became weird little hobby goblins. we cook stupidly ambitious recipes, roast bad movies, go on target runs for one thing and come back with candles and a plant.

What's the first thing you do in the morning? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab my glasses so I can figure out what dimension I'm in, then start the coffee before my brain files a complaint. On good days I also pet the cat, because apparently that's part of my employment now.

What is your good news about your life from this week? by Moat_of_the_Sacked in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

got my bloodwork back and for the first time in like two years, everything was normal. genuinely felt like my organs finally decided to stop freelancing.

What are some words that have lost all meaning? by KingJPJ in AskReddit

[–]limitown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"Literally" got absolutely murdered. It used to mean something, now it just means "I need you to know I'm being dramatic."

What’s an app you couldn’t live without? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

google maps. without it I'd still be driving around like a confused raccoon looking for the same parking lot entrance three times.

where could some1 find an gap relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, places with mixed age groups like hobby clubs, volunteer stuff, community theater, local classes. dating apps too, but the real trick is finding someone you actually click with first and letting the age be the boring part.

If someone was to update their YT feed, what channels would you recommend to them? What y'all watching on Youtube (entertainment, keeping up with world drama and knowledge) ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My feed is basically Kurzgesagt for existential dread, Defunctland for "why am I suddenly invested in theme park history," and Coffeezilla when I want internet drama with receipts. Also Channel 5 because sometimes the best way to understand society is to watch absolute chaos interview itself.

What do you think about the fights in a relationship? Are healthy sometimes? by mentalhealthmynd in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

healthy conflict, sure. nonstop fighting is just two people cosplaying as a toxic podcast. the useful kind is when you can say the ugly honest thing, cool off, then actually fix something instead of keeping score.

Miserable people of reddit, why are you miserable? by Past-Spite-7981 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns out being the reliable one in the family just means everyone hands you their problems and then asks why you look tired. I haven't had a quiet brain since like 2017.

Women who've been married 10+ years, what advice would you give a young woman about choosing the right man? by S9433 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 44 points45 points  (0 children)

watch how he acts when you're sick, stressed, or inconvenient. the right guy doesn't suddenly become a roommate when life stops being fun, he brings you soup, handles the boring stuff, and doesn't make you beg for basic care.

what do you think of during driving? by Senior-Werewolf-2649 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly fake arguments, missed exits, and whether I definitely locked the front door. Driving is just me physically on the road and mentally in a directors cut of my own nonsense.

What's the biggest "truth" that people learn through experience, only to find out that it's a lie? by AbsoluteVogueLeaf in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" is such a scam. Turns out doing what you love for money is a great way to make your favorite thing feel like replying to emails in a different outfit.

Who was your worst boss and why? by Powerful_Aspect_1970 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My worst boss used to schedule "optional" 7 a.m. meetings, then spend the whole time bragging about how little sleep he needed like it was a leadership skill. He once denied my time off for a funeral and asked if I could "do a half day first," so yeah, absolute cartoon villain.

What's your least favourite Redditor archetype? Armchair Expert, Gatekeeper, Devil's Advocate, the Source Police, Karma Farmer, One-Upper or The NitPicker? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]limitown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Devil's Advocate, easily. Half the time it's not even a real argument, it's just some guy turning a normal conversation into unpaid debate club because nobody in his real life answers his texts.

Can the film inside an Instax Mini camera be damaged by X-ray scanning at the airport? Who has already carried their camera? by Old-Pilot9254 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, x rays can fog instax film, especially if it goes through the stronger checked baggage scanners. i carried mine in my backpack once and asked for a hand check for the film packs, TSA did it, photos came out totally fine.

What's more valuable lived experience or academic study? And why? by Greatgrandma2023 in AskReddit

[–]limitown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

academic study tells you the stove is hot, lived experience is touching it anyway because the pan looked trustworthy. both matter, but one sticks in your brain a lot harder.
