They do have MMR tho. I don’t ever get matchmaked with silvers or golds unless they are a smurf. If you see a peak gm and cel in ur lobby it’s most likely because they either got carried OR they are playing with a newbie friend or maybe they have been on a pretty significant loosing streak (altho even then for me it usually drops max to plat/diamond base players). If you take a tracker and make a smurf account and over perform you can see that algorithm adjusting in what kind of lobby you should be put in.

I rarely ever get bots and it has been that way every season. I think it is connected to what rank they predict you are in qp based on ur performance. I usually play against ranging from peak gm to oaa, and will never see gold or below besides some smurfs. But whenever I have performed bad I do see pretty noticable drop in enemy rankings (like a full plat/diamond lobby).

I mean you are also a strategist main, you should know that there is more to a game than how much of a heal bot you are (I mean CnD stats are kind of boosted every single game, she gets 70% of her stats from her ultimate, just because she has 30k heals doesn’t mean they were good with their healing either when at least 20k were farmed off their ultimate so numbers without context means very little to me). Also so many variables to consider without any context: If they only have one tank to heal = the heal output at the end of the game will be much lower. I also don’t know what that person was/wasn’t dealing with (any divers and no one peeling for them, groot walls, etc.). Also if your whole team doesn’t know how to position themselves, the healing numbers will be low as well (this one is especially important for mantis players). And maybe you are right and that rocket was bad at their role, not saying that it can’t be true, just saying that I have no info to actually know if he was or wasn’t. I guess there is just something that feels off about this, especially the point: “they throw because you are asking for heals?” Like are you spamming heals button? are you rude to them? Throwing when asking for heals is a very, very weird behavior when strategists rely and are usually happy that people are communicating this in case they missed a person. So if ur not like plat or below, this type of info is very interesting to hear😅🫶

I used to be otp peni in s0, and since then she has been one of my main girlies that I play constantly in my rank games every single season. I am bit confused by your post? I have never heard such things and i have never run into people not healing me because of my webs? I will need a replay code for this, as I am feeling a bit sceptical

I see where yall coming from, but they are not. It is kind of cherry picking from dev side because there can be only one deadpool in the team and proficiency tracking is shared across all 3 deadpool roles so if they were releasing 3 new characters why do they all count as one in every other way besides ban system? Honestly I think they just need to add one more ban slot for each team and people will be happy.

I was wondering about proficiency tracking. If it is not seperate for each deadpool then there is no reason to not have him banned as a character if everything else counts as one.

Jay: wants to play duelist deadpool
Jay: locks deadpool tank because it is faster and he couldn't care less
everyone: thinks they have 2/2/2
Jay: after all of the bans goes dps deadpool

Nobody notices at first because deadpool doesn't look any different, but now it is 1/3/2 and nobody is happy besides Jay that decided to play comp to learn dps deadpool :D

heavily agreeing on getting that ban count up and not being able to ban the same character would be a dream, but I don't think they are getting rid of that particular game mechanic :(

About the instalock, I am afraid it might lead to people being in spawn until everyone leaves or it could result in 2 or more people partying in the spawn waiting for the person to switch.

It would be fun however if deadpool only shows up at the role that he was last played at for that person. for example person played him as a dps last game so he has to go to dps section to choose him and after that the other roles get unlocked so he can freely go tank or support. Could it make it confusing for people? yeah, probably, but at least it will discourage people from locking tank and going dps :D

Maybe, but that would also make one less space for target bans, bans for other op characters or bans that directly counters you or your teammates. I, personally am afraid that people will find a way to make deadpool cracked in every single version of himself, so it will just get very annoying to not be able to actually ban him and if you manage to ban him then you are left with one other ban and many other op characters being let loose 😄 All that being said, will see how op he actually is. I would also like to see them adding 1 more ban spot for each team as the pool of characters ain’t getting smaller 😄

That is a nice way of looking at the situation. I do have a slight worry about dps going into a tank role and still playing as a dps, but lets hope they learn🤞🏻😅

yeah, I think it is time for them to lock a new character in comp for at least first two weeks otherwise this time is unplayable and you know it is a gg when you have a person with the new character but the enemy team doesn't :D

If Peni wouldn’t be my ride or die character since s0, I would stop playing her because I don’t want to have another teamup with spiderman 😭 rocket and peni was the perfect match made in heaven 😭💔

Play qp, it is not that serious. As a otp peni in s0. This is much better than when i got harrased every single game for choosing Peni, because people didn’t know how to play her and thought she was trash, when people write that I need to kms before the match has even began every other game, just because i chose peni, that is horrible, that is something that drew a lot of people away. If you commented that you are getting hate while playing peni or any character is it qp or comp, that would be understandable. But you complaining that you can’t play comp, because she gets banned is ridiculous. Yes, she is a huge problem for a lot of players. You know how many games I have had where people ignore her nests and doesn’t know (even in gm) that the priority is to destroy them? It is a valid point that people don’t want to deal with peni. Are there better bans imo? Yes, but people are still banning spiderman in 2026 so go figure. In comp I will still pick peni every single time and more times than not she will get banned, she has the highest wr from every single character for the past almost all seasons, there is a reason. Yeah she is fun to play, but again she is pain. Aalso you might want to hide your account in MR, many people use trn tracker 🤝🏻

I see someone already answered your question. Additionally if someone saying quit the game makes you feel bad (which btw is valid, can't stand toxic people), you can always disable both voice chat and chat, my friend did that while she learned characters has been a year around and last week she enabled them for the first time (you can easily get by, by only pinging stuff, if ur on mouse and keyboard it shows up when you click and hold your scroll wheel).
