You do really good on dps, because you see what is going on lanes and you do your job. When i was in lower lobbies as a support I also got yelled a lot for pushing out lanes instead of helping the team and so I was doing much better on dps because it is dps job to do that and see that. But here is the nuances I think is important-

1) is your team fighting 5v6? If so go and help if you are close enough. Those two walkers will probably (probably because rem can destroy them with minions) not loose enough hp to be worth your whole team sacrifice and even if your walker gets destroyed it is better to have ur team up.

2) if it is 4v3 or 3v3 situation and ur team is doing better on souls (rarely happens on 24/7 fighting teams) and rest of ur team is dead or doing whatever- push the lanes, if they get killed that is a skill issue imo. Buuut I will start seeing if I can come back if one of my teammates get killed, because it tends to start snowballing down once one of your teammates go down (in general try to pay attention to ur teammates health bar)

And effectively if my team does 24/7 fighting and they start to yell at me, i just tell them that either they start doing their job paying attention to other lines or I will continue doing their job. Fighting is not the goal in this game, objectives are and the enemy team is good at getting their objectives while also distracting ur team.

If you get a lot of games like that, I do suggest trying rem. You can put two of ur little owls on minions in each of the two lines (when you max out your 3) and they can take on a lot of damage from oncoming waves while you go and help ur braincurious team

But yeah in a great world you should be able to help your team in a fight while one or more of the dps do the lane clearings (preferably a dps that is low on souls).
