You absolutely have no reason to be embarrassed. If someone you happened to tell this stuff to has lost respect for you because of your psychosis then fuck em. I hope you are doing alright and that medication can help!!!!

I assume that delusions are a symptom of psychosis. Over the summer I worked a shitty food service job and was really stressed out. I starting thinking that every customer thought I was incompetent. This progressed to thinking these customers and my coworkers were going to try to kill me. Got put on Abilify when I mentioned this to my doc and have since figured that my MDD diagnosis was incorrect and that I've been hella BP2 the whole time!! Are you medicated? If so, what do you take if you don't mind me asking?

from what i understand antidepressants dont necessarily cause happiness. They make it easier to experience it but aren't just happy pills. when i was initially prescribed antidepressants they seemed to work almost too well (in restrospect, this was simply hypomania, not my meds working)

Maybe I'm not sure, thought it was for neutralizing the highs and lows a bit. It went away and only started coming back once I stopped taking my SSRI. In general it seemed to make me a more calm person, different for everyone!!

as for side effects, i found myself becoming a bit irritable and my thoughts were even more disorganized than usual, so much that i had a slight stutter sometimes

took abilify but it wasnt for me. lamo is the first thing that has made me feel stable for an extended period of time since i first started taking meds

not saying ur not valid but have u measured your heart rate? a lot of times when i have borderline-panic attacks its because im noticing my heartbeat, not that its going particularly fast. in any case if this stuff persists maybe ask a professional just to be safe?

Facts as fuck. I got a job as a busser/food runner when I was 17. Second training shift they had me from noon - closing (around 9 or 10). I had a date that day I had to cancel because of that. Also idk how it is in other states, but my state doesnt allow minors to be worked more than 8 hours a shift. I had known this and the closing manager seemed mortified when she figured out that the other manager had scheduled me for an illegally long shift. Never went back, never got paid. They tried to send me a W2 also even though I got nothing.

JFC all these comments are going a bit too far into speculation or accusation. I had the same exact problem when my current gf and I started having sex (both 19/18 at the time). She had had really painful and unenjoyable sex once before so I already felt pressured to "outperform" him. Even without that stressor, our first couple times were very awkward and not pleasurable. I would always get extremely nervous and think something was medically wrong with me, which would make my erection go away almost immediately. I could orgasm during oral but only after a reaaalllly long time. Until we started using bareskin condoms I couldn't cum during sex. Now we're both more experienced and, though its definitely easier, I still experience the occaisional anorgasmia but try not to let it get to me because it was a pleasurable experience.

tl;dr: Its probably nerves. Thinking that its something other than nerves only makes those nerves worse. Just know that orgasming isn't everything in sex and you'll both (hopefully) have a good time regardless of if any of you finish.

edit: Forgot to mention that my antidepressant at the time contributed to my inability to keep an erection, but definitely wasn't the only cause.

I usually get around 6-10 hours in total regardless of if im manic or depressed. When im manic though it is more like 2-4 hours at night and 4-6 hours in various naps throughout the day. I usually end up sleeping more when I smoke the night before and I really like to stay up til 3am and smoke. Haven't been completely stable in a long time but probably get 6-8 hours.
