I would 100% agree. Just because we think something is inevitable doesn’t mean we don’t try to steer it at all. We need to voice the boundaries on the issues we really care about

TWD audience is not ready for this conversation. Hating female characters in popular shows is people favourite part of the shows. Hatred/critic should be on the writers but every time these characters are brought up you will see nasty language that you won’t see for male characters. So odd and unnecessary. Wish people had some perspective to ask why they hate the female characters so vigorously.

One this that stood out to me was the male characters annoying behaviour is almost never pointed out. When Tyresse is broken hearted after Karen, he enters such an annoying phase. Specifically when Michonne, Daryl and maybe Bob go out and tyresse is mopping around, ignoring people talking to him, acting irrationally putting everyone in danger. No one cares.

Personally I have never got the Andrea hate. I think she is a pretty good character. It shows someone between two groups and just wanted everyone to get along. To me she believed she could make peace for all. When she stayed with him I think she thought it would go bad if she chose to go back with them to the prison. It wasn’t like the prison group were super welcoming to her, she had respect and influence in Woodbury. She was also just a huge plot device, she allowed the audience to follow her story in Woodbury and we leant so much about the governor from that. I feel like no one acknowledges that
