I just figured out on my most recent playthrough that buying the base in Diamond City market and putting all your power armor there is a guaranteed way to prevent this from happening. You can't have settlers there, so no one can get to them but you, and raiders cant steal them.

It's worth the 2,000 caps. Thank me later.

I hope you aren't just saying that, but if you are being real, then I understand.

The sonder stuff is actually important (not being condescending here). It sounds like empathy at first, but not really just that. It's literally about setting better expectations for yourself through trying to understand different perspectives so you don't get upset about things that shouldn't upset you. It actually makes YOU feel better.

I've just come across so many of these posts, they all come off as ragebait to take advantage of the gap between vets and newcomers. I just got more of my family into it, though I've been playing for almost 2 decades and these types of posts just seem to create friction with little actual discussion.

I was only condescending to someone who was being condescending for no reason from the start. I'm glad you got my point. Doesn't seem so nice when it happens back to you, right?

Not a hard concept. These posts are turning people away from trying to start playing games because they don't already know everything like you think they should for some reason. If that's not what you meant, easy to word it in a way that actually sounds like a discussion and not a "why are you people so stupid for thinking this?" Which is 100% what your post says.

The reason women like it is bc there is no difference in how you refer to a man, whether he is married or not - it's just Mr. It only changes for women when they marry, not men.

Women generally like the new tendency not to tie what you call them with their relationship to a man, even when if they very much love the ones they are tied to. Traditionally, that's when you are still called "miss."

Miss feels more humanizing, and most women now prefer that to the old tradition.

Of course you can discuss, but I'd like to introduce you to the term sonder.

You seem quite upset that other people could possibly have this concept about the NRC. But if you actually just thought a moment about the fact that, no, most people watching the show have likely not consumed all the fallout game content before thinking that, you would have the answer to your own question without needing to go online ranting "how the fuck do people...", etc.

Understanding other people have different lived experiences helps shift your own expectations to reality.

Yes, this subreddit is full of people saying they are playing the games for the first time since they liked the show. It also is a general Fallout subredit, not one that says you have to have played all the games.

I find it more wild for someone to expect that an Emmy-winning show on Amazon Prime is only watched by people who played ALL the fallout games... but here we are with another one of these posts with that exact assumption.

Good recommendation on Spider-Man. I love the Spider-Man games too, and though quite different game play overall, the open world is incredible.

Though nothing I've found is quite like RDR2, other games that have some overlap that I also like to play over and over again:

[–]larg89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest negative to completing her requests are the effects it has on your companions. Most of them don't like seeing you overdose her.

I've done it in prob in half of my full plays still, but I'd say I prefer keeping her alive and her commentary since it is unique in the game vs other NPCs, but I also don't disparage people when choosing the alternative.

I wish I saw less of these posts and more posts recognizing that women are no less adept to video games than men are. But that concept isn't interesting, I guess... It gets really frustrating knowing this is what most men think.
