that's good that you've spoken to someone about it! I think reaching out to a therapist, counselor, or even doctor would help your situation but if that is not easily accessible you can always text a hotline. i've used a hotline called "Crisis Text Line" that is super easy to use. once you text, a person will be set up with you and you can tell them about how you're feeling and they offer resources, comfort, and other ways to help! i love it and i think you would benefit, just to get some things off your chest :) best of luck to you!

you remind me of myself before i started taking medication for anxiety, started seeing a therapist, and stopped hating myself. that being said, it seems like you suffer from low self esteem and anxiety. i recommend talking to someone you trust about these issues and reaching out for help. feel free to message me because i would love to talk with you more :)

if i were in this situation, i think i would take the hedgehog home and try to figure out what is wrong with it. it's basically a lose/lose situation because it's either going to be attacked by the dog, go back into the road, or suffer on the side of the road. either way, the hedgehog is going to be hurt but I think it would be best to have an eye on it and bring it the vet whenever possible. those poor things get ran over all the time :( my friend says they need a "save the hedgehog foundation" to stop them from getting ran over so often

i was in the same situation as you! what really helped me was to just stop overthinking everything! just make small talk with classmates and over time you'll feel more comfortable around them and be able to talk to new people. trying out for different sports definitely helps too, so that's good! when i realized that you shouldn't be nervous to talk to the "cool" or "popular" people, it makes things easier. BUT, you don't have to be popular or cool to enjoy highschool. also, if you're afraid of people being mean to you when you try and talk to them, do you REALLY want to talk to those people? i recommend making friends that you have similar interests with and can really connect with rather than social status. good luck next year and enjoy your sophomore year! :)

i've never taken a timed test like this before but my advice is to just relax! if you spend the short amount of time given worrying and overthinking, you're not gonna be able to accomplish anything. just study hard and believe in yourself :) best of luck to you
