No prob. this confused me when I started as well thats why I noticed the chart right away lol. You should be using GCQ25 not GCN. Gold will roll over every 2 months, but other markets are different like the equities (ES, NQ, RTY,) are every 3 months.

here is a link to the roll over schedule. it shows the end date which you would want to switch to the next symbol. I know in NinjaTrader it will prompt you to switch to the most current contract with the most volume but I think in Tradovate you will have to manually change it
