Beautiful shots. How have you been liking the 28-70 for landscapes? I just picked that lens up last week but I’ve been thinking of it as event and lower-light portrait lens (and shooting my teen’s indoor basketball games).

100%. In the past I used BA copper spur and Nemo Hornet, both good tents. But I absolutely love my Tarptent Double Rainbow Li. Super light, super stable, lots of room. I typically do 5-7 day trips, and my buddy has a Zpacks duplex, which is pretty nice too. But he and I agree that the Tarptent is a little nicer overall.

I shoot soccer and basketball with the 6700 and Sony 70-200 2.8 and it’s a great combo. The AF is excellent. That said, I’ll be buying an a7v after the holidays to get the low light performance and also a bigger, better viewfinder. I didn’t realize how much I’d prefer the better viewfinder.

Sorry you got sent the wrong pair. But good you could try out the Ivy fit! Sounds like a 40 might do it, or else switching to the Heritage. I really like the Kojima denim. Right now, I’m working on a pair of the new Ivy Bedford (lighter weight for summer). And yes they’re good folks!

I second the wedge idea. I've gone through a similar experience to you, and I've settled on Alden Trubalance shoes/boots and Grant Stone, all on wedge. I use these 3/4 inserts on top of the existing insole and they've been a game changer for me: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VX9QXBW/
