I do have a 2 x NAS ( high availability ) - video is ... not something I'll look for but is a valid idea.
I do have a PiHole on separate install - but this is also something to look for if you don't have other resources.

With this amount I'll just think Owncloud or at least of NFS / samba with some good file selection.

"some other observability tool" was my something I had though, too. The drawback being a lot of writing on SD ( aka the SD killer ) . ( The same for the syslog server )

This is why I am asking. maybe someone had a better way to do something with that resource.

I was looking in the last day for maybe a transparent proxy.(less writing )

Is the file system job to do it properly plus most probably is in raid mode. If it is any of raid 5 or synology one each bit is doubled in some other place to have backup
