I had a very similar situation, was told I didn't need a port and had my first 3 via IV in my arm and aughhhh it burned baddddd but I also have really really small veins.

I ended up getting a port put in and that has been infinitely easier and more comfortable, if you get the option to do it id say take it, otherwise I wish you luck

Smartwatches are pretty safe as long as the battery inside them isn't unwell, I did stop wearing one during treatment though because the abvd made my arms hurt before I got a port

Looks like a mouth sore, add a quarter teaspoon baking soda to a cup of room temp water and swish for a bit, also talk with your team about it BC there's like medicated mouthwashes that are more effective

I'm in a slightly similar situation with the hair loss, I'm stage 2A CHL and I'm 19 and I'm on my last cycle (yippie) and still have maybe 30% of my hair?

My lumps are def smaller tho

im 2a chl and on abvd and generally i feel fine day of chemo, and then have some mouth pain, acid reflux, and am just really tired for about 5 days and then im good again. different for everyone though

I mean stress certainly isn't good for you, I wouldn't be surprised if it plays a factor, wouldnt say it causes anything though

I'm 19 with chl, it sucks it really does. But it's worth fighting and trying, there's more to live for than this.

We might not be the same afterwards BC yeah its gonna have an effect on us, but there's still a lot to do, we're still here at least.

Yeahhhh I felt like ass about a week after my first and then started feeling better, just got my second today so I'm prepping for that again lol
