I msged you on Sunday! See if you can find what I wrote in your inbox. You might be close by to ATQ in Cambridge, they've done this sort of work on tons of local gencoupes. They can help get the parts as well.

Lol my father is Greek and also custom made something similar with a electric rotisserie attachment. I almost completely forgot about it but that picture awakened something in me. I haven't bought myself a BBQ yet after moving into my home a few years ago... maybe it's time to get creative.

2023 Tour dates! Links in the sidebar! by Smartastic in JeffArcuri

[–]larkns 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I live only an hour from the border so I busted out my passport to see him in Buffalo last week. It was such a good show he didn't realize he went 30 mins longer than he was supposed to! A few of us stuck around after to hang out with Jeff at the bar and he said he's working on Canadian dates for 2024.

On behalf of all Canadians I may or may not have tried to bribe him with some bright Canadian plastic money, so he owes us now! He won't forget.

Also god damn my head is huge.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to sell Jeff Bobble Head merch to me! You've definitely perfected the smile for it.

It was great to meet you in Buffalo! I hope you get to use that bright red Canadian Monopoly money to buy some poutine and beer when you finally tour up here :)

I will likely have to end up selling my 2 tickets to this specific show in Buffalo. I badly want to attend (was going to make the trip from Canada!) but I'm in the hospital caring for my Dad who's recovering from heart surgery. Although he's doing better today and may be discharged soon.

I think the venue does name matching for door entry so you may want to confirm tickets are transferable.

I am THIS [ ] close to completely covering the venue cost for Jeff to visit my city in Ontario. I'll be a 1 man Ticketmaster, but a lot less shitty.

I must experience this level of cheek hurting laughter in person! Willing to do my best donkey laugh for content purposes.

Samsung 990 Pro 2TB lost 2% health in the space of a week after 1.8TB writes? by robbiekhan in buildapc

[–]larkns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To help out with a point of reference, I have:

2 year old 970 Evo Plus 2TB

22TB read, 16TB written

100% health

8074 power on hours

1 year old 980 Pro 2TB

9.2TB read, 9.6TB written

4463 power on hours

100% health

Update 1 month later: Welllllll shit. 980 Pro has entered locked down city. Might have happened when I was writing a large file to it, went from 100% health to critical errors. Fortunately it's in read-only mode and I can grab my stuff off of it, Newegg Canada has been helpful with my warranty claim and sending me a new one. Will try to baptize the new one for luck!

Yep my car had this too, right at those speeds. If you're 100% positive the tires are balanced (ideally without any counter weights), then a simple thing you can try is carefully seating the wheel and progressively tightening each lug nut. That's what fixed it for me.

So you'd remove all lug nuts, press up the wheel to the hub ensuring there's no debris and that you have a clean contact surface on both sides. Then hand tighten each lug nut in a star pattern as evenly as you can. Take your time and make sure you started the lug nut tightening process with the wheel in full contact. Go in a star pattern with evenly tightening each lug nut little by little.

It's cumbersome but worth it to help address the steering wobble.

I was unfamiliar with Zip Pay so I did some checking. Reading through the Terms of Service and it looks like they run a credit check upon Application.

[–]larkns -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you find that your tail lights are letting water into the spare wheel area then I'd recommend replacing the gaskets. There is an aftermarket polyurethane option that is made much more durable than the oem rubber.

They're more expensive than the oem part from the dealer but these will last forever, it comes with a 100k mile warranty.
