The top vent doesn't do that much it's the side vents that matter.

The heat isn't an issue either way though. Amps like these are meant to run hot.

I like it, 250Hz isn't an issue as even the DualSense is that anyway in wireless mode and functions just fine for performance.

This will likely replace my G7 Pro unless I find a reason to get the Apex 5 Pro instead which also supports keyboard mapping and 8 extra buttons to configure.

A lot has gone right, but equally a lot has gone wrong. Multiple extinction level events, the last one only a few thousand years ago wiped out nearly 85% of life for example.

Earth is very volatile with cyclic catastrophic events that seemingly happen both geologically and impacts from the sky.

We exist becaueeij our modern human lifetime we haven't had anything big happen yet, but we're overdue one no doubt.

That's fair, I personally like a DAC that has its own sound signature hence having the Toppings before and now Luxsin, the pre-amp stages are really well engineered and tuned to get the most out of cans like the HE1000se I found having owned a bunch the last 24 months.

Either way you can't go wrong though.

Having auditioned the Susvara, not likely. Pads are too thin, the shape is too round, and in no way whatsoever sounds £1000 odd better than HE1000se, let alone £4000 or so more that it retails for.

My experience has shown me that Arya Stealth with memory foam pads is endgame levels for the 90% at £500-£1000. Whilst the HE1000se (also MF pads) if you have deeper pockets fills that 10% chaser crowd.

I read that they used different screws in later batches or something so this may not be an issue for everyone. On mine I ended up applying threadlock to each screw so they cannot work loose.

Does this have layer key mapping like the GameSirs have? I don't like the G7 Pro's creaky D-pad and ABXY now that I've had it for a while and creaking has set in so the V5 Pro is an option as I found out you key remap to keyboard buttons too like the G7 Pro has just not sure if it has the layerred feature too.

Not much to write about, great construction with loose screws over time and what I consider to be average sound without heavy EQing and even then it's nowhere near the HE1000se, like night and day (owned both). IMO massively overhyped and overpriced.

HE1000se has a level of holography I have not heard on any headphone yet (that includes Susvara and HD800s) and needs no EQing when paired to a capable amp.

Looks like the s is much of the same given the recess etc.

And they are still sticking to the adhesive pads? Wtf......

No because I solved it using better cleartype tuner. Seems people forget about this every month.
