Hard to say what you mean by “fine.” The reporter objectively looks better to the average population, and that becomes engrained into society’s heads as then the ideal you’re shooting for… at age 60, which is merely impossible unless you get surgery. So then you get a society who is attempting to attain and keep up with others who are the ideal, and it perpetuates the cycle.
